  1. Continuing with the cafe my wishes are for a safe day for Lisa.

We have a wonderful pizza bar open tonight. The pizza with the artichoke and mushrooms is to die for, but them again there are soooo many others! The fountains are just bubbling away with a variety of drinks--I say the chianti is devine!

Pull up a chair and share your day with a kitteh or two, whether it is just beginning or winding down....

  2. Hi SM! Some cheese pizza please with Chianti! What an awful day, I want to unwind. Thought to you and of you Lisa!

  3. Hi SM! I've never had artichoke pizza but I'll give it whirl! Had a busy day, got my first work out at my new gym (well just the lessons today, will start working out on Saturday). Busy with work and honey and helping out with my dad as able. I'm heading to bed now but wish everyone a great evening/day and I'll try and check in tomorrow! Goodnight friends!

I need to unwind too. Heck of a day...Abbie just woke up and got her back down..Maddie still is running around...Wayne got home late..late...so it's just chaos and I am tired still from being up all night with Abbie..
Off to get the rambuncous(sp) 3 year old to bed..be back I hope...if not..I have collapsed and hopefully sleeping.

  6. MC has anyone heard from Lisa? What happened today--nothing to change the surgery I pray!

Lainey I love artichokes and could put them on almost anything. Sweet dreams and those workouts sure pay off!

  7. CM is Abbey feeling any better? I remember those days. The first 4 years of my daughter's life, my hubby was in other countries. It was actually tougher when he was home! I had a routine and he blew it to pieces everytime he came home for a month or two. The hard part was she was so scared of him everytime he came home--she didn't know him. It hurt him. Now she is Daddy's Girl. Glad he has been around with her these last few years before she flies the coop next year.

  8. i would like some pizza please. dripping with mozzerella cheese. there is so much cheese, the crust can't hold it all. and a ice cold coke zero please. thank you.

  9. Evening all. CM, I hope the evening gets easier and Maddie goes to sleep quickly. CM, i understand what you mean about having a routine and hubby blowing it apart when he came home. Our girls were about 4 & 6 when he started doing jobs out of town and we did things our way that suited us, then he would breeze in once a month with a mountain of grubby washing and everything would go out the window. Weekend over and off he went, oblivious to the mayhem and then we would settle back into our routine. I tackled him about it but the poor bloke had no idea he had been causing mayhem, bless his cotton socks.

  11. MS I think men just don't see the effort set into a routine!

Posted 2 years ago by SoxsMom #

  12. Have to agree with you there, as far as they're concerned it 'just happens'.

  14. I'm off out now, errands to run etc. Back on the late late Night Shift(if I don't fall asleep again).

  15. Well I am off to bed. Goodnight all, praying tomorrow will be a better day. Today stunk to high heaven! Sleep tight all! See you on the flip side!

  16. Well I have graded tests and now I am exhausted. I have learned that my kids are reading 2 different books--the one I read and one I know nothing about!!! I actually saw great grades, but some of the answers are just WAY out there!!! By the way it is important to know that Abraham Lincoln is the person that got us involved in WWII and WWII began in 1890 and ended in 1990! But at the end everyone were friends! When I get done laughing I will toddle off to bed!

Good Night and Peace to All!

  18. Hi everyone! (peers from behind cast)...I'm okay, and the pain meds are keeping me comfortable. I just woke up from immediate post-surg. nap. Am about to embark on another long nap...my love to everyone why kept me in their prayers, it could not have gone better. TDK magic rules again, I was alone, but never alone, and never scared a second. I truly felt your loved every moment. More about that tomorrow when I feel like typing some more. Purrrrrrrrrs. Send your kitties to visit!!

  19. I just spoke to Abbey and told her I needed to get off the phone so I could send you a message!!!! Wilbur, T-Do, Hadley, George, Nicky and Nora are all zooming through the wormhole to sleep on the bed next to you. You were never alone! We are all here and we are all sending healing thoughts, white light. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that surgery is hard no matter what is being operated on. Never fear you will breathe normally and still be as beautiful as ever. Please take care of yourself. If you need groceries or any errands run e-mail Abbey. She just told me she would be happy to bring you anything you need. It is funny watching her wedge herself into her car. Makes me smile. Do not hesitate to call her or e-mail if you need anything. Pick-up at pharmacy, groceries, etc. Have a good rest, take your meds and keep yourself hydrated. Purrs, skritches and gentle headbonks to you.

  20. Yay, Lisa, that is good to hear. Sending you gentle hugs!

Lol @ Sox's Mom. That naughty Abraham Lincoln! That would make World War II the one they call The Hundred Year War, then...

Hope MC and CM get a good night's sleep and that so does everyone else who needs one...

  21. Evening my friends, semi-awake here tonight. Drove to Sierra Vista today and visited with my bestest, dearest friend and it was quite lovely. Even thru my foggy headache filled stuffy upper appendage, it was enjoyable to sit and talk for a bit. The pizza sounds interesting, artichoke and mushrooms but hmmmm probably won't try it....I have tried artichokes in dips but 'rooms have never tasted good to me. I know I know that shows my ignorance of the mushroom culture.

Soxsmom, see I knew there was more to 'history' than was in the books....the great secret 100 years war with Lincoln @ the helm! Out of the mouth of babes and if we actually listen, we too shall learn in our old age, lol.

Lisa, glad that you were able to be up for a bit and please rest while you can.

CM & MC, may you both have a good nights sleep and wake well rested.

    jcat, hey there!

  22. Popping in and out in one hop tonight. Lisa, great to see everything went well for you, rest easy tonight.
Hi Deb and Jcat. Darn that headache Deb but i'm glad you didn't let it get in the way of enjoying your visit with your bestest & dearest friend.
How's the weather Jcat? It's cold here tonight and HRH has just thundered up the stairs and Mr MS informs me she has snuggled up on his side of the bed(Yay! I'll be able to sleep stretched out tonight).
I can't have been listening when I was at school, I don't recall that particular war.
    Good night all.

  23. Hi, Deb, sorry I missed you, I was popping in and out between chores tonight... I'm glad you had a lovely day with your best friend, but sorry about the headache. It's not fair, is it?

Hi, MS, sorry I missed you too, Friday I have to watch Supernatural :) and it's on so late! Got people coming round tomorrow too so before I go to bed I have to make cinnamon buns and let them rise overnight in the fridge, then I can just pop them in the oven tomorrow morning, yum...

It was a sunny day here -- though very windy -- until about 4pm. I'd just got my washing in and the southerly arrived, hail and driving rain and instant cold and gale force winds. Luvverly spring weather, when will it end, I wonder?

Sweet dreams to you both and scritches to the kitties! Have a lovely day everyone. I'm off to make the cinnamon buns...
