  1. The fountains are on, the kitties are willing to work the late shift for those wanting cuddles and purrs.

It's a good night in NZ, we have just qualified for automatic entry to the Soccer World Cup by beating Bahrain 1-0 tonight. KK, miniKK and Mr KK were in the audience cheering NZ on.
Airy and I also bought the bridesmaids dresses, yay another job done.
Tomorrow I am meeting up with an old friend who shares the same names as me, we haven't seen each other for about 20 years.

  2. Woo hoo, glad that NZ qualified for the Soccer World Cup! Tomorrow's meeting sounds like a good time in the making. And for checking off another of the multitude of things on your wedding list!

Sitting here working my fingers to the bones for these guys tonight, fun fun joy joy....

  3. I'm just checking my Lotto ticket, Airy is video chatting with J-man and HRH Shadz has come in for the night, filled her tummy and is settling down on the bed with Airy.
At least tonight we will get some sleep. Neighbours had a party last night which at one stage in the early hours became a noisy brawl on the road frontage with lots of police cars turning up. It was fairly quiet after that and not a peep from them today. Thankfully this only happens about twice a year.
You mind those fingers Deb, don't work them down too far. You'll need them for tickling your Crew.

  4. Lol, that I may when I get home this morning.

I hope that all of you sleep well this evening, at least the noise from the neighbours should be quiet after the visiting police cars :) I hope that none of my neighbours get noisy, so far so good for the lack of parties in the area.

  6. Sounds good Cheri, and then you can go back to sleep afterwards.

  7. Hi Cheri, sleep well and don't forget to set your alarm. You don't want to miss out on a bargain like that.

  8. Time for me to wander off to bed now. I hope some of the early risers pop into the NS office soon Deb, or a late night owl from NZ. Don't let them wear you or your fingers down. Sweet dreams when you get home to the Crew. See you tomorrow/today.

  9. Scritches to HRH in the morning and don't forget to take out her 'food' from the freezer :)

  10. Thank you for the reminder.

  11. Whoo-hoo. Late night owl from NZ checking in here... Now if it hadn't been for MS, I'd never have known we'd won the soccer. That's amazing (we tend not to be very good at soccer). Goodness me, we haven't been in the World Cup for about thirty years. Guess what will be all over the news tomorrow and forever, just about... Hope the family KK had a great time, I bet they're all screamed out by now...

Bridesmaid dresses, yay! when do we get a sneak preview?

Has your stuffy headache improved Deb?

Busy day here, had the doll collectors round. Lovely to see them but I get so stressed out beforehand, not very used to entertaining large groups (hard enough finding enough chairs for them all to sit on). I made cinnamon buns, chocolate fudge brownies and ginger crunch. Guess what all disappeared -- the ginger crunch! Gee, they're lucky I didn't put in wayyyyy too much ginger like I did last time I made it!

  12. Sounds like you had the busy day with all the doll collectors there. And what a layout, cinnie buns, choc fudge brownies and ginger crunch!

No, my stuffy head is still here, should just buy stock in kleenex...sigh.

  13. Oh, Deb, stinking headache, it needs a good kick up the backside!

Deb, you should see the afternoon teas some of our hosts put on. Lavish is not the word! I only held back because we had a club lunch beforehand and a club birthday cake to cut today as well, so I didn't actually do much baking... I always say I only joined for the afternoon teas...

  14. Hey nothing wrong with joining because of that.....I would do it too.

  15. Tee hee, especially us single girls, Deb, it's always wonderful when someone else cooks for us... :)

Tomorrow I am just going to veg out all day! (Except if it's sunny. Then I have to mow the lawns and cut the hedge -- aarrrghhhh!)

  16. Deb, I can scarcely prop my eyes open and Jasper is miaowing reproachfully at me (it's BEDtime, he's saying) so I am off to my nice warm duvets. Hope they give you a few breaks at w*** and sleep well, scritches to the crew in the morning!
