   my mom makes the best pumpkin pie. her recipe starts with getting the burpee seed catalog. she grows her own pumpkin along with a large variety of squash.

   i recently sent up a frozen ready to bake pie to my dad. i bought a complete turkey dinner package complete with pie for $36.00. included oven stuffer roaster, gravy mix, ham, cranberries, diced sweet potatoes, rolls, stuffing, green beans, and pie. since im on a diet and will only eat my mothers pie anyway, i sent the ready to defrost and then bake pie to my dad. he said it would have been better if it had been in a ready to eat stage. he does not like having to wait for pie. my mom cooked it, and my dad said it was quite good, considering it was the only pie in his house. we agreed that it would not be as good as my moms...
