I just recieved work that my son has been badly burned in a house fire. Please, please send all of the prayers and white light you can. He has been burned over 65% of his body and has lung involvement. His kidneys are beginning to shut down. He is the father of three little girls and has a lovely wife. I ask for prayers for him, his wife and children. I know God hears and I know that this forum has great power. I don't even know whether to pray for his life or his release--I know, God's will be done so I guess I am praying for that. Thank you in advance and will update the situation when I can. Shelley

Thank You all. Everything is just the same. I can feel your prayers--I don't think I would have made it through tonight without them. I also think that they are what is keeping my son with us. Doctor said to come home and come back in the morning, so I am taking that as a sign that he will get through tonight. I know that God has all of us in His hands. I am so grateful that I know Him and grateful for friends like you all.

Thank you for asking Lynn--nothing new--I am taking that as a good sign. I am supposed to go to the hospital this morning, but we have rain/sleet/freezing rain coming this way and I live more than an hour away from the hospital he is in so I don't think I am going to risk it. In getting more of the details I found out that he was trying to start a fire in their fireplace and used gas/oil mix on the wood and it flashed back on him--and that my 8 yr. old granddaughter was standing right next to him--she was covered in black soot, but otherwise unharmed. My 13 yr. old granddaughter got both of her sisters (youngest one is 3 1/2) out and over to the neighbors and called 911. So it goes to show you that when you think things are at their worst there is always something to be grateful for--I could have 1,2 or all 3 of my granddaughters right there with him. Thank you for all of your prayers and good wishes--I and my son and his family really need them right now.
