well i just got out of school and when i walked through the door and went to the couch i heard a meow, well i was looking all around for spaz and i couldnt find him so i lifted the cushions of the couch and there he was under the couch. this isnt the first time he has done this, but since i was at school and my fiance is asleep i have no idea how long he has been in there. but apparently he found his favorite toy. but how do i keep him from going in the couch? its not a recliner and i try to keep the cushions all the way pushed in, but this cat digs to get in there? do i have to duct tape the cushions like i did to the bottom of the kitchen counter? lol

Cats are fully grown (bones as big as they will get) between 12 and 18 months. There are a few breeds who could take 24 months, but those are usually the exotics.

Here's a suggestion for the couch problem. Leave the cushions off when you aren't sitting on it. The area will probably lose its appeal to him if it's exposed.

Good idea, CBM. Sorry SA, my first thought was the lifelong immaturity of cats!
