  1. well i just got out of school and when i walked through the door and went to the couch i heard a meow, well i was looking all around for spaz and i couldnt find him so i lifted the cushions of the couch and there he was under the couch. this isnt the first time he has done this, but since i was at school and my fiance is asleep i have no idea how long he has been in there. but apparently he found his favorite toy. but how do i keep him from going in the couch? its not a recliner and i try to keep the cushions all the way pushed in, but this cat digs to get in there? do i have to duct tape the cushions like i did to the bottom of the kitchen counter? lol

  2. Kittens are so much like toddlers. Maybe try adding some velcro strips on the sides or bottom of the cushions?

  4. You could find it at any fabric store or fabric dept at Walmart or Kmart. sometimes you can even find it in drugstores where they have sewing kits.

  8. SweetAmy - Joan means that cats never 'mature'... they always act like kittens. LOL

  10. Kensho's always going in my couch too. his fave hidey hole. I just let 'em. Sure gave the housecleaner quite a scare, one day though, when she was sweeping behind the couch! My advice? Let your kitten go in there. At least he's not scratching the exterior of the couch

  11. he really has no way out there than to meow and wait for someone to get him out

  12. Cats are fully grown (bones as big as they will get) between 12 and 18 months. There are a few breeds who could take 24 months, but those are usually the exotics.

  13. Here's a suggestion for the couch problem. Leave the cushions off when you aren't sitting on it. The area will probably lose its appeal to him if it's exposed.

  14. Good idea, CBM. Sorry SA, my first thought was the lifelong immaturity of cats!
