   amy how are you? i have been thinking about you all weekend.. i would of emailed you but i was working at the "torture chamber " or the hospital as lay people call it.... lol... my family and i have been praying and sending good thoughts your way for a speedy recovery... when do you have to be at the hospital on wednesday? please fill me in on all that's going on .... fiona is having her hysterectomy( i don't know the vet term) on the 30th.. she will be NPO( nothing to eat or drink by mouth) after 2100 on the 29th and her surgery is at 0730.... lydia and fiona send love to betty and wilma.. they will be going through the worm hole to check on them... and betty and wilma can come spend the night anytime ...

   Amy, You are in my thoughts and prayers for your surgery going well and for your recovery. Your surgeon and his staff are in my prayers as well. I hope after this surgery you will be 100% and do not ever have to deal with your head again :) We love you, we are worried, but we also know that with the love, prayers, thoughts, and hugs surrounding you, that you will pull through. Please have someone contact us somehow to let us know how you are doing. Who is taking care of Betty and Wilma while you are at your spa(lol) day? Will you have someone staying with you afterwards? We need to know so we don't worry and send out the national guard.
   Just remember you are loved and you are a strong, determined woman and you will get through this and be better!!

   Amy my thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope you have a good surgery and that your recovery goes really well. You have also been on my mind lately.    thanks all! I am getting very nervous this time around. I think for this time it is not the fear of the "unknown" but the fear of the "known". I am madder than a hornet right now and I don't waNt to rant and rave here on such a nice thread. All I have to say is all three rides I had set up to take me to the hospital have fallen thru. Now I may have to drive myself and have someone pick up my car or take a cab. AARGH! Nuff said, but I want to thank you all for you loving words above and for those that will follow. I really do appreciate all that you have done for me!. Many hugs to you!

   Amy...I can't imagine a true friend bailing out on taking you to the hospital for such an important operation. Please know that If I were anywhere near close enuf,I would drive you there myself. When I promise something or someone, my word is as good as gold.
   Not a day goes by that I don't think about you & what you've been thru & what you're about to go thru. I don't know a stronger person in my life than you.
   Please know my Loving Prayers are & will be w/you & the hospital staff on Wednesday. Your very Loved & will get thru this...I know. {{{HUGS}}}

   Amy hon...if anyone has the right to rant and rave on this thread, it's YOU! Please feel free to lay it all out...every thought, fear, anger and disappointment!! We're all here praying for your every success and deserved desire. I just don't understand alot of things that have to happen in this lifetime but I do know that we must share our love and loyalty to people who really matter.     What really ticks me off is its my sisters who have backed out. I am just so mad right now, my sister said "why can't you just take a cab?" Seriously? For brain surgery? FF is unavailable due to work so I can't blame him. I just hate being alone going into this. I know the room will be packed with kittehs and TDK'ers but you know what I mean!

    Wait you can not drive yourself! What about your family--they can't take you to the hospital? That is truly unconscionable! Please try one more time before driving yourself. I'd drive you but I am on great painkillers and think that the world is full of butterflies and rainbows--I'd probably crash a car. MC I dearly wish I could get you there myself. After my trip I would like us all to avoid all hospitals! My prayers are with you--as a matterof fact you have been on the prayer list for many months. May this surgery go well and your recovery go smoothly.

    amy , i am sorry your sister's promises fell through.. i can't bleieve they want you to take a cab?? is there anyone from work that can give you a ride? i wish i lived closer i would be happy to take you.. you can bet we will all be there with you...you will never be alone...

    Me too!!!! I would be there in a "hot Texas minute" to take you! Please try to find someone to take you. Do we have any TDK family in the neighborhood? Do you have a church? An assistance league? Does the hospital have a "surgery shuttle service"? I know that around the hospitals in Houston there are several companies that provide a service like this. I will continue my prayers and positive thoughts for you. I know that you will be a shining star and come through with flying colors! Lots of hugs and purrs to you.

    I am just done with it all! Been thru 10 peeps and no one is available to take me to the hospital on Wednesday. Looks like the cab is getting better and better as a means of transport to the hospital. (grumble, grumble)

    Oh and please don't drive yourself. You have enough to think about. Please take a cab. You SO do not need the stress of traffic on top of everything else, please get a professional to do the job and make sure you get safely to the hospital :)

    yes take a cab.. at least you won't worry about getting your car back home... you won't be in the cab alone , we will all be with you... your cab ride will be filled with kits and furmoms... and a cute calico on your lap to purr and calm you...

    Oh Amy,that's so darned annoying right at the last minute too. Grrrrrrrrrrrr for your sister, that's not how we're supposed to act. Take a cab please.
    Yes indeedy, there will be a room full of TDKers and their cats. We promise to be quiet when you need sleep but we'll be lifting your spirits any way we can. Dream of us sitting around your room chatting about kibble and toys and live versus catnip mice. Dream about the kitties snuggling all around you and any other free space available.
    I'll be thinking of you Amy, and praying for your surgery to go well and a trouble free and quick recovery so you can get back to us and start the Cafes again. You serve up such great food. {{{HUGS}}}

    Amy, wishing you the best in your recovery and will kick the sisters to the curb for wanting you to take a cab and not taking you. If I was there, I would drive you with big bows and lots of confetti to let them know you were there. Clean up is on them! Prayers are with you and lots of hugs. I'll be waiting for the good results.     Amy, I am so sorry that all those asked have fallen thru on helping you get to the hospital and sure wish that any of us were closer. Keeps popping up in my mind, the old saying, 'that this too shall pass'.....Your surgeon and his team are in my thoughts and may their hands be guided to find the problem and fix it with great skill....and that your recovery go smoothly and quickly.

    They have just successfully separated the conjoined Bangladeshi twins in Australia, who shared a skull, blood vessels and part of their brain. I think that this is a good omen -- they can do marvellous things nowadays and Amy, I am confident that they will do them for you too! We are all pulling for you!

    You have been in my prayers through all of this, but I will add extra ones tomorrow throughout the day and send the healing TDK white light to boot! My little Daisy girl will be there with you too--no worries friends she likes kitties cause they are more her size--lol--so no commotion in the OR! Seriously, you will be in good hands!
