Amy, you are in my prayers. I am sorry you have to go through so much hassle about getting a ride to the hospital for brain surgery(!), if I lived near you I'd take you in a minute! I will check back and see how you are doing, God & the angels will be watching over you. Try to have a restful day with Betty and Wilma...they love their meowmy!

Amy, imagine that I'm sitting next to you, holding both your hands. Now imagine that I'm looking at you, in a calm, unblinking manner (like my cat Sweet Pea).
Everything's going to be all right. You're going to be fine, once surgery and recovery are over.
You're doing all the right things. You're making all your plans in advance to get to the hospital safely, get home safely, and make a full and speedy recovery. Your neurosurgeon and surgical team are working hard to help you get well; the nursing staff is helping, too.
Now take a deep breath. And one more. That's better, isn't it?
I know this is nerve-wracking. I know that waiting is hard. It's easy to get anxious about this, and it would be better if you had more support right now. But you're going to be fine, and before you know it you're going to be on the mend.

There is a reason why these people backed out, and I suspect that God thinks the best transport is either a TDKer or a cab. Some signals are coming through very loudly on this issue, especially after 10 people!
We will be with you through all of this, Amy. If you cannot keep us updated, please ask your FF to do so. Our prayers go with you, and we carry your spirit in our hearts.

Amy, I am so sorry about the ride to the hospital issue. I can't believe your sister's could be so cruel as to send you off in a cab. Having lost one sister, I know that there is little more precious and irreplacable. What time do you have to be there tomorrow? If you would like, I will set my alarm early and we can text all the way to the hospital? Just let me know what time. Please give my number to FF and have him text me when you are out of surgery and I will update the group.

I stopped by the neurosurgeon's office today and dropped off some medical leave paperwork. They asked how I was and if I was ready. I said "Yes! Can we do it now???" They were stunned that I wanted to do surgery and to get it over with. They said I was the most enthusiastic brain surgery patient they had ever met! I said, spend a day in my body (head) and you would be too. FF won't be there, actually no one will be so I am not sure about how an update will be sent to the "family" here. FF PROMISED since he was missing taking me to the hospital because of his mom he would come spend the whole day with me on Thursday at the hospital. I told him I am keeping him to his promise!
