Kittehs are getting a simple NS together as everyone has been feeling kinda worn out or sick. Soups and sandwiches are on the menu as are burgers and hot dogs. Nothing too exciting but something warm to fill your tummy. Kittehs are stretching and relaxing on floofy pillows and in kitteh beds. Come grab a bite to eat and snuggle a kit! Hope your day was good.

Woohoo, second one into the Night Shift office for once. I'll have whatever is long and cold from the fountains as it's a hot muggy but windy day here. Hi MC.
Today I took Mum to the garden centre, and you can guess the rest. I bought way too many plants and now have to find room for them all. Flower plants today. Just been filling 7-8 pots with lovely compost ready for some tomato plants I have been growing from seed. They are cherry tomato and a green sausage tomato. LOL at the silk flowers. Mine end up faded. I bet there is something you do CM that I couldn't even do half as well as you. We all have our 'thing'. Our Spring is long and drawn out this year with bigger doses of wind and rain then dry and windy. Don't know if I'm going to grow webbed feet or dehydrate and blow away this year. December 1st is the official first day of Summer.

... Cuddles and Abbs are "punishing" me for spending the weekend away with Hubbs.... both girls are now "sucking up" and vieing for pets and huggs..... and I have "PLENTY" to go round!...... LOl

Hi AV. Wow if that's punishment from the girls enjoy it. When Shadz wants to punish us she sits with her back to us and totally ignores all overtures to get her attention. I fell asleep in my chair and have just woken up, so a quick post and then it's off to bed.
It was darling daughter's 21st birthday party at the weekend (her actual birthday was Wednesday). It was a wonderful occasion and she looked amazingly beautiful. The cake worked well - 3 tiers, fruit cake as the base, chocolate cake in the middle and plain cake on the top. I'll try to post a couple of photos another day.
It was quite a long drive (260 miles each way), so I'm exhausted now, but it was definitely worth it. Good night all. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa MS.

LOL... @PM~....... bbbbaaaaaa!!!!!!..... could you coax my almost 19 yr old daughter out of her "hissy-fit/blues/drama queen" weekend?..... poor thing had to put up with "nightmare" roommate and totally got frazzled!.....told Hubbs and I she "was comming home"....now you do realize, the scholar ships and all would be forefit, etc...... so of course we're like, "no way", you have to say and face this, things will get better tomorrow!.... etc. etc...

Oh dear AV. Been there and had those conversations. Both girls have had some horror stories of flatmates over their years at university. Some who shut themselves in their room and slithered out to cook meals then back to the room, one who wanted her brother released from prison to serve home detention at the flat! ! You what? Every flat they were in we put locks on their doors and supplied them with smoke alarms and fire extinguishers. Made then tougher and opened their eyes to what's out there in the world.

Here but for a moment before taking a nap, picked up my best friend from the airport and we stopped for Thai food on the way home. She has been safely turned over to her two kittehs for her 'punishment' of leaving them for a week....yep you guessed it they will be glued to her side for a few days now, lol.
Hope that everyone can relax and rest this evening, deep breaths are in order for some of us (including myself) may not really do anything but its worth a shot. So I will be back after the witching hour, ta ta and toodles even for now :P
