  1. Evening all--sweet dreams to those that have drifted off to slumberland! I am so tired. I am very sore this evening and am trying not to take any pills. I may have no choice.

  3. Lol the same way it is now 2.23 MST and it seems like I have been here 'forever' this evening! Keep thinking on 5+ hrs to go and then I can go home, how sad....such is life :)

  4. Now it's minus 15 minutes Deb before you go home. It's been slow on the NS and in fact on the entire site today. Maybe the cold is getting to you all in the US.

  5. Evening MS, lol yes it is.....seems like time is being dragged backwards here, one min forward and ten backwards. Wanted to watch the beginning of the Leonid meteor showers tonight but here at the w*** compound the lights are too bright to see them well in the sky...even with the alleged nightsky friendly lights, sigh. So besides buying way too many plants what else did you do today?

  6. Is there anything else other than too many plants? This evening I got to plant them out and water the garden as the winds we've been having have dried everything out. It took me ages to get everything all sorted and watered so Mr MS cooked the dinner. That was wonderful of him, although I think his rumbling tummy may have been urging him on rather than helping me out.

  8. Jcat, check out this report. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=10609872
We get to look at the night sky too.
HRH is now inside, she has inhaled her supper and has galloped upstairs hopefully to check out Airy's bed and not mine. She will have the bed to herself tonight as Airy is staying with Meegz.
Time for me to head to bed also. Goodnight friends, Sweet dreams Deb and Jcat.
Amy, I'll be thinking of you.

  9. Evening Deb and MS, I have got very little done today, I am a slacker! Now I will have to work twice as hard tomorrow to catch up, arrrghhh!

There is no news from this end of the country. Quick, somebody do something exciting!

  10. Sweet dreams, MS, though going to bed does not count as something exciting... Smooch Shadz for me!

I am sticking around for a bit...

  11. Ooh, ooh, I'm in the north-east! A meteor shower is exciting! But it's supposed to rain tomorrow so the sky might be too cloudy :( Still, I will try to remember to check it out! Thanks, MS!

  12. jcat, lol ok the only exciting thing I can do or say is I just remembered I took leave tomorrow night so don't have to w***!!! The meteor showers are supposed to be thru this weekend I believe, at least the Leonids.

    G'night MS, sleep well.

  13. Well, that's quite exciting, Deb! I'm glad you remembered so that you didn't turn up at work when you didn't have to! Are you going to be doing anything special or did you just feel like some 'me' time?

  14. I had planned on taking two weeks off for the holidays, but when my Mom got sick and passed away that changed things a bit....so decided on 2 3 day weekends instead, so its tomorrow nite and then Friday the 27th is the next one. Just didn't feel like I could afford to go anywhere like previously planned with all the monies I spent moving and going back & forth to Calif, besides I am flying to Chicago in Jan for little Becca's 1st birthday. I had really forgotten that I asked for a day this week though, lol.

  15. Oh, I'm so glad you're going to Becca's first birthday party, gosh, doesn't time fly? You'll have extra shopping days to buy Christmas and Becca presents now! I hope you find something lovely to do with your 'surprise day off'!

  16. Dang got caught up in doing time sheets so we can be paid, then doing a final eval on the gentleman I am training. Time does fly, it doesn't see like she should be 1 yr old already. Just sent her some cute board books since she loves to chew on them and then look at them, lol. Day off will probably be fixing the closet rod that 'accidently' fell off the wall holders today while 'innocent' kittehs were trying to hang from it!

  17. Darn those 'innocent' kitties, lol, were they trying to do chin-ups? Or were they climbing your clothes? I STILL haven't gotten around to replacing the living room curtains that two foster kitties, Seb and Sasha, totally destroyed a couple of years ago...
