I love TSO!
I'm on lunch hour so does anyone mind if I vent? In a funk and I wonder if there is any possibility of dumping any more worries/s**t on me. Seems every aspect of my life is affected; w**k, home, etc. Can't wait to get home, that's where Leela is! Not that she's the snuggly type, but I play with her a bit and my troubles melt away (or I get sidetracked by a new attack by her lovely, but sharp, claws!), at least for a little while. Anywho, going to try to eat some cheese and crackers (have trouble eating when I'm stressed) and read for a while.

Afternoon everyone. Yesterday morning I felt like I was coughing up hairballs! I picked up a Z-pack yesterday afternoon and a new inhaler, went home and tood a two-hour bath. It is amazing how much better those three things have made me feel. I am trying to get well before next week! All the while, the boss keeps coming up with more and more things I have to get done before I am off for 2 weeks! my back-up has turned in her resignation so now I have to try to work ahead to cover those two weeks! My only hope is that they hire someone quick and I can get an hour with them to show them the sorts of things my boss might be needing while I am gone!
Someone toss me a Redbull and some sort of power bar. No time to stop!
Hugs to everyone! Joan and JK, I will do the Funky Chicken with you! I actually remember when that dance was in and the song on the radio!

SM, I too love TSO. I got Airy to buy me 2 of their CD's and send them back here, I got The Lost Christmas Eve and Beethoven's Last Night. It's great music to get lost in especially Wizards in Winter. I also love Tchaikovsky and Grieg's gruntier music too. I whack up the volume and sit between the speakers, it reminds me of when I was playing in our local orchestra.

Good one, Deb! I know I get a reward whenever I click on TDK chat!!
Wish I could send everyone a cheer-up pill, but I've been there myself and know that it takes a little of "hey, I'm in control of how I feel." [That and a little pink pill. LOL]Posted 2 years ago by LadyKat of IA #

Afternoon everyone, trying to get motivated to do something productive around the house. Understand the frustration level that seems to have some of us in its hold. Mine is at w***, absolutely hate Micro-management when one has fully competent adults working for you, and we have some of the master manipulators currently in the govt system or so it appears. Only hope is that I can continue to ignore them, or give them the importance they are due or seriously look for another job even though I love mine and damn good at it, sigh just venting.

Hey there MS!
Ladykat, me too, think of the click training therapy everytime I get to talk to ppl I like (TDK folks are top of that list). And my frustration will be gotten over, its just annoying seeing what 'they' are doing to others within the workplace.
Plus those two kittens for today's main site are too dang cute!

Ok, I'm headed home and don't have internet (another problem) so I bid y'all fairwell for the evening. I hope to get out from under this dark cloud but it's frustrating not getting answers to my questions/problems. I also have a stubborn case of the blues that I'm trying to work out. Mom and Dad taught us the "glass is half full" 'tude so I am keeping them in mind.
Think I'll get my TSO cd out when I get home. Classical Thunder and Brassed Off are in my car now, and when I get home, Leela is there, yay!Posted 2 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

Hey Deb, when things get too much for me, it's always a joy and a pick-me-up to gaze at the Daily Kitten, or in today's case, kittens!

Goodby, Joan, and snuggle that little Leela even if she doesn't want to. You need it.

I am beginning to show signs of infection. The doctor took off the dressing and ripped of a ton of skin. Now that spot is infected. I have antibiotic ointment. I see the doctor in a few days. If the temp goes up he wants me in tomorrow. It isn't over 100.2 so he thinks I got it under control. I have hubby and daughter to help. I worry so much about Amy. I am having a hard time--and I have help. What about someone to help her? I am worried.

Aw. SM so sweet but just worry about you. Hopefully FF will get him mom back on a plane to Florida and he will be more available. He said he is going to come and spend the whole day with me on Thursday. He said he is still trying to figure out what to bring to me. I told him I will be in ICU so all he needs to bring is himself. Hopefully he will be more helpful when I get out of the hospital. One coworker is ov vacation the same time I have surgery so she will be available after surgery. I think IF I can get there, I will be ok. Sorry you are feeling punk SM and everyone else!

You know that when you come home and begin to heal, it is hard. Having an extra hand can be a Godsend. As long as you have someone to help when you get home. Remember your last surgery, you will need someone to check in on you. Basic chores should not be something you worry about.

Yeah I will definitely have FF available to me when I get home so that will be a huge relief.

MC will anyone be able to call the hospital and know if your surgery went well? I know when I register in the hospital here they ask if I want my condition released. They don't give information, but they will tell if the surgery went okay. I know I sound like a broken record, but I have someone here to help me and I am floundering today. I do not want that to happen to you. Sorry I sound worse than a mother hen, but I am worried.
-
Oh yes, I believe I emailed out the hospital phone number to many of you. It was an 800 number. If someone wants to call, the password/code is "Betty and Wilma" so they know you know me!
