  1. I've mentioned how delicious Rabitos are...figs infused with brandy and chocolate mousse and covered in dark-chocolate from Spain. They are on sale, $17.95 for 16 bon bons. They are worth the money (for a nice holiday treat once a year) and definitely worth the calories!

  5. Yes...they sell them in Spain. I am not certain what shops sell them, but I discovered them when my brother brought them home from Seville.

  10. I treated myself to a box last time they were on sale at La Tienda, along with the paella that was 75% off because they were changing their recipe. Yummy on both counts! I made those Rabitos last for months, since they are individually wrapped and very rich. My son tried one and hated it--yahoo! More for me!

  13. Just in case anyone does not care for Rabitos (or may want to add to their La Tienda order), here is Turron candy from Spain (almond brittle, all different types). This is seriously good candy...very big in Spanish households around Christmas...
