Well nothing fancy--I don't have the energy! I have called the specialists! Fresh fruit flown in for around the world--you name it I am sure it is here! The fountains are flowing with milk chocolate and dark chocolate. For those that would like some thing more the salad bar is open. The Cobb salad is wonderful!
Pull up a chair and order a drink--I am thinking tropical how about a Mai Tai! Share your day, whether it is just beginning or winding down!
Gotta eat fast, gonna be NPO soon. Load me up a plate of EVERYTHING! I will take a non alcoholic beverage since surgery is tomorrow. How about a little tuxie to snuggle?

1pm CST. The assistant said that it will take about an hour to postition me correctly and get me ready. Then about 2.5-4 hours for the procedure.

Amy, honey, you are surrounded by white light and hugs and prayers...Just know you will be in everyones thoughts and prayers. I am worried but know it will be okay. You have to be okay so we can come visit..Maddie and Abbie would love to meet their auntie Amy...heck., so would I!!!!
SM, how are you feeling? Are you staying on bed rest???
Can't stay too long..just got Abbers to bed and Maddie is still up...almost bedtime for her and that's always a chore.

Evening all. I am doing okay. I wouldn't say I have stayed in bed, but I am not running around. I supervised the laundry and started my Christmas cards. I did walk around like I am supposed to. I hurt so I will take a pill in a bit.
MC you are going to do great in surgery. After tomorrow you will be on the path to healing! If FF isn't there to help when you get home I am rounding up Emma and the ninja whack bonk weilding crazy cat ladies to come and take care of you!

Good evening, all! I've been thinking about MC all day and the surgery tomorrow. I'll be praying for you, MC!
I haven't started my cards yet - I have to get pictures taken first and locate the boys' santa hats which I'm sure they've tried to hide somewhere!
I got a call today for yet another dog-sitting job during Thanksgiving. I had wanted to leave it at the 2 I already have lined up, but I'm not doing great money-wise, so I decided to take on this third one.
A friend of mine is having surgery in a couple of weeks and has asked me to spend three hours a day with her, three days a week for 2-3 weeks afterwards. She's paying me for it, so that'll help me buy some Christmas presents and send out cards this year. I also have three dog-sitting jobs lined up for Christmas and refuse to take more than that. Phew!
You are busy, GD. I need to go do a few dishes and take my shower. If I don't get back here have a good night.

I was going to comment on the panting dog. He does drive me a little crazy but not nearly as crazy as the woman with the expanding and contracting hips. That is too much.

...my Christmas cards arrived in the mail yesturday, and I love them!... I'll start addressing them this weekend, and hopefully get a few done each night!.... my goal is to have them out/shipped by the first week in Dec..... I'm doing our overseas friends first, since they will take the longest mail time, then the US ones!..... I look forward to these each year, really gets me in the "spirit" of Christmas when I begin receiving those wonderful cards!....
good evening !!! i just finished dinner, so i'll be able to see in 2 hours my highest nighttime blood sugar and i know it will be good as i was very good today. the dr. appt. went well this morning. i am seeing my psych. doctor's colleague for a few sessions while my he is out sick. i didn't get to the gym today - i promise to go tomorrow. Spice has been very clingy today but very sweet.
may i please have a plate of cut up fruit and milk chocolate ? thank you.

I've just been sitting outside in the chilly night air feeding the hungry kitties that I'd love to tame. Bennie and Jett (ha ha ha) are soooo sweet and it's amazing what you can get accomplished with stinky canned food! :)
Grumpy Gus (their daddy)? Now, he's another story! But, for the first time in over 2 years the little toot actually sits on the mat outside and meows at me in the morning.
