  1. Well I'm off to bed. Didn't get to sleep until 1am last night and then got up at 5.30am so feeling slightly ragged now. Will send good thoughts to Amy while I am sleeping.

  2. Evening KK,Deb and Jcat. welcome back Poochi.
KK, I got your hint about your wedding anniversary, I'll remember it this year.
I've been gone hours, been so busy today in batches. We had rain today, quite heavy falls too so I don't have to water the garden for several days, Yay.

  3. Nighty-night, KK, sweet dreams!

  4. Darn, looks like I missed little sis!
Hi Jcat, how did the 'mowing' go today. Find any monsters in the hay paddock?

  5. Evening, MS, yes, it poured down here until well after lunch, then I went out and weed whacked the garden some more! Is Shadz still happily singing and dancing in the rain? Jasper wouldn't let me eat my dinner tonight, he thought the sausages should definitely be for him so there was a bit of a sausage struggle and I thought, you should have grown out of this by now! But aha! I was ruthless and got to eat my dinner after all and then he snuggled up to me while watching telly so he couldn't have been too upset ;-)

  6. Nope, no monsters, but rather a lot of mislaid bricks... from previous disrupted attempts at starting the path...

  7. Yes Shadz still loves playing in the rain. It's almost like she gets wet so it's easier for her to bath herself. Maybe she likes the taste of the rainwater. She is sprawled on Mr MS's chair which she commandeered as soon as he stood up from it. Cats aren't dumb, they know a pre-warmed chair is the cosiest.

  8. Well, at least she waited for him to stand up. I've probably told you this before but Sam, my parents' cat, goes to the door as if he wants to go out, my dad gets up to let him out (he's nearest the door) and Sam quickly doubles back and jumps on his chair. And that's it for the evening, my Dad's got to find some place else to sit...

  9. I wonder if your dad sat in the other seat first if Sam would try to get that seat too, then your Dad could go back to his preferred seat. Outsmart the smartycat.

  10. I like the way you think MS, but unfortunately Sam has decided on the most desirable seat in the living room and that's where he wants to sleep every night. He actually believes it's his seat and my dad just gets to sit in it when Sam isn't wanting it. He would regard my dad sitting in the other seat as a victory... Sam never deigns to sit in that one himself.

  11. Very smart Sam indeed. Well I'm yawning so widely here I'm worried I'll swallow the monitor. That is a signal for me to close everything down for the night and head for bed and the wonderful release of sleep. Sorry to abandon you so early but if I don't head off soon I'll wake up in the morning with qwerty across my forehead. Take care and sweet dreams, headbonks to Libby and Jasper.

  12. No worries, MS, I think I'll go and watch a bit of telly and then pop back before I go to bed, in the hopes of saying Good Luck to MC. Sweet dreams to you too, and smooch that rainy-day Shadz for me. Nighty-night!

  13. Good night to those going to bed and good morning to those that will be getting up soon. :)

  14. Well watching for the meteor's outside was a bust, did see a wonderfully clear sky filled with stars and wonderdust though. Also got a bit chilled because I fell asleep while gazing up for the elusive showers, so back in now and believe that my mattress is calling. So farewell my friends for this evening, sleep well, and scritches to the kittehs....so sorry I have missed you this evening, ciao.
