Holly, so very sorry that you lost Nicholas.
I just saw this thread, and I, too, have lost babies. It is so heartbreaking, but as big as your heart seems to be, I'll bet there is room for many more in your life.
Please don't let this disappointment discourage you from opening your home to another kitten or two.
They are such pleasures and blessings, and can fill your home with hours of laughter. Yes there will be tears, but believe me, they are worth it.
