Oh, I love those folded-over ears! There is a library book company called Baker & Taylor, and their mascots are two Scottish Folds named ... Baker and Taylor :-)
Sometimes kidlets just FUSS, CM. Hopefully it IS just teething. One of my friends had a bottle of Johnny Walker and when her baby would fuss/teethe, she would take some on her finger and run it on his gums. Seemed to help. Or maybe that tiny bit of whiskey put little Matt back to sleep, I don't know (lol).
Or maybe it was for HER to take a swig from when Matt would cry! (lolol)

Good morning and scritches to the little orange and white Scottish Fold giving me a cup of tea this morning.
CM, isn't there some baby Orajel or something like that for you to rub on the gums so that both of you could get a little sleep? Hopefully, if it's just the teething, the little baby teeth will pop through and settle down.
Siobhan, how are you feeling this morning?
Yay for MC and continued prayers for a speedy and good recovery.Posted 2 years ago by LadyKat of IA #

Glad you're doing well today. I'm also feeling pretty good. I had some dense fog to drive through to get to work today which makes me tense, but I always feel good when I can get to the cafe.

Morning!
Oh LK..I did put the orajel on her..didn't work. I even broke down at 3am and fed her...didn't work...I don't know what it is. She didn't have much of a nap yesterday and maybe overtired, but I really don't know. I am out of options..I would get her, rock her in the chair and she was fine..then I would put her back down to sleep then 30 minutes-45 minutes later she was up again.
Well both kids are up so off to make breakfast..hugs to all..hope to be on later.Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

My mom old fashioned recipe for teething was to let them suck on a frozen waffle...sops up the druel and get ice on the gums. Not having kids myself I asked but what about them eating the waffle since they are so young...she said never a problem for her because my the time they got a piece off it was so broken down it was good to go... Not sure that is a good idea since Eggo's are in short supply now (other link) but it might be worth a try...

Having trouble sifting thru the threads that are real as opposed to the hijacked ones...

Morning CM,Sio, LK, Joan, Vicki, Alicia, SM and Kilroy! Whew! Hope I didn't miss anyone! Hope to get more good news about MC today and that she will heal quickly. I have never seen a Scottish Fold in person, but they look sooooo adorable, I would love to cuddle one! Prayers and rest to those that are in need of some today!

Someone is hijacking Multiply sites too. Tbey are health ads. I don't understand this as Multiply is password protected. I reported them but have had no response from Multiply. Other than that I will have some coffee and a nice big soft/crunchy jelly donut! Followed by a large glass of the coldest skim milk you have. Have a great day everyone. Yay for MC!!

Good Morning littermates! I too found health ads on my Multiply Site. Don't you feel violated finding them nesting in with all the friends and family? Grrrrr! It may take a while SOM but I think Multiply will get back to you. I'm sure they're really being bombarded big time. I wrote them too. Mmmmmm. donuts sound good! I'll have a Maple Bar w/a large coffee! I'm happy too that MC is resting so well. haha..snoring even!!! That's so cool! =)

Morning everyone :) Hope that everyone has a wonderful day.
CM, can your m-i-l possibly take little Ms. Maddie so when Abb's takes a nap you can too? I know its rough to go without sleep and you are doing so many days here in a row.
Katthays, my best friend's Scottish Fold, Bonnie passed over about 2 years ago @ the nice age of 19 yrs. They are 'allegedly' the friendliest cats, except for Bonnie, she was to be looked at only....did not like hoomin interaction or actually any species including cats with the exception of Buster...so I laugh when I see articles saying how friendly they are but she was beautiful.
Those old links are showing up every day or so and then it will be 3-4 in a row, just enough to start your heart to jump because they are old links. Especially when one was started by Cindy/Renee, that one really got to me.

*waves to all*
I thought about MIL Deb, but Maddie actually helps out a bit by playing with Abbie a bit. Abbie doesn't have good naps either..sometimes it's 30 min. other times it's 2 hours..average is about an hour though..so it's not worth it. I just wish I had a clue of what is wrong with her. That would help so I could help her.Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

Thankful Thursday Greetings to all in regard to Amy/Mollycat's progress! Hope all who are in need of a hug/prayer have a good day too! It is damp & dreary in M'waukee today so I need a very large java to warm up with a biscuit and honey butter! Thanks to the all of little biscuit Scot-kit makers! Enjoy your day/nite wherever you hang your hat & keep your cat/s!

CM, well at least Maddie helps, it has to be frustrating both all of you not knowing what is causing her discomfort, poor baby.

CM I'd forgotten about the stresses of everyday life with my little ones til I see your posts and it all comes flooding back to me. It's all so exhausting and it's the sheer love of our babies that keeps us on our feet some days. Sending you as much 'Sheer Mom Memory Boost' to give you a nap or the strength to get through the most tiring of days! {{{CM}}}
Azdeb..going into the second year of our contract with Frontier and our highspeed rate jumped $30. more per month unless we agree to another year which will take $15. off that. If we break the contract early it's a $200. penalty. =(
