  1. Ok. I'm on a search for the perfect litter. What is considered the best kitty litter out there on the market, in your opinions, of course? I'd like to use something that is Earth friendly, if at all possible. I tried the "worlds best cat litter" but it's extremely dusty. I'm not liking that at all. I'm currently using fresh step.

  2. We use Arm and Hammer Essentials. It works for us. It's a clumping litter and no dust! That was the reason we bought it and keep using it. The only thing I don't like about it is the fragrance, but I have learned to open the bag way before I need it and air it out.

  3. Do you know if it's biodegradeable? There is just so much info. out there. Clay is a natural product of the Earth but not biodegradeable. Wouldn't that still be Earth-friendly?

  4. I use a litter that is recylced newspapers. Its biodegradable and also flushable. I think mine is called Yesterday's News. It is pellets so no dust at all.

  7. After 49 years of owning cats I have yet to find "The Perfect Litter". If I like it my cats don't. Sheba is very fussy, the other two like just about everything---I think it's because they were feral and Sheba is a spoiled Purebred!

  8. Yes i also find sprinkling a layer of baking soda on the bottom of the pan before you add the litter after cleaning the pan helps with odour

  9. Swheat is good for being biodegradable, but if you could possibly have a mouse problem, don't use it. Mice love to eat it and it attracts them.

  11. I use wood stove pellets. Once a cat pees on it is just turns into sawdust.
