Meezers are swarming the cafe today, tying on little meezer aprons and putting on little chef meezer hats. They're ready for your breakfast orders, and a basket of meezer kittens in the corner is just waking up and stretching and will be ready to visit for pets and purrs shortly!

Well had a bit of a rough night with Abbie again..she cried out a few times and I settled her down right away, then 11:30ish -4am she slept...well at 4am..she woke up crying...I went in there and she wanted to get out of my arms and play or something...felt her diaper leaked, so I changed her...put her down and she wailed..and wailed...I went back to bed and waited..after 5 minutes I went back in there calmed her down then left and she freaked out again..I waited and she fell asleep within 10 minutes...yea!!
I slept till a bit after 7 when Fred woke me up since he was starving.

Boy, -I- could use a nap! I still haven't caught up on the lost sleep from earlier this week. (yawns) But it's Friday and I don't have to be up at the crack of a** tomorrow morning, YAY!!
Yay, it's Friday! And meezers at my service...a cup of Earl Grey tea and a pumpkin scone.
Sorry to hear, CM, that Abbie is still having trouble. Hope it's some phrase she will pass through quickly.
Siobhan, I agree with you...a nap would be nice, but sleeping in will be better tomorrow.

I think I am going to call the dr today and rule out an ear infection with Abbie..poor little baby...if it's not an ear infection then it's a battle of the wills or something. She can fall asleep just not stay asleep...agh!
Wayne is off today but will be spending the day at the library to study for his test tomorrow. So it's status quo here for me today.
Maddie is up so I must go find something for her to eat.
Everyone have a wonderful day and I will update you once I go to the dr and come home..if they can fit me in today.

Good morning all! I would like anything that is comfort food!! CM it sounds like an ear infection, teething can sometimes cause that...it happened to my two... I have had the worse week... My laptop is dead and my son is sick again! And on top of that someone has been saying ugly things about me on Twitter .... It has been a flashback of HS!
I know what you mean about flashbacks of high school, Opahall. In these days of electronic communication, people are much bolder about being a**holes to others, because they're not standing face-to-face. Just let it slide off your shoulders, Opahall. Go snuggle a kitty :-)
Sounds like kindergarten to me Opahall...how sad. It's amazing how adults revert to child like name calling and other things. It's sad. I am sorry you are having a rough week. I hope your son feels better soon!!

Morning to Siobhan, CM, LK and Opahall! Hope your son feels better, Opah, and I think it is wise to see the dr about Abbie, CM. If they rule out infections, etc, then you know it is a phase she is going through and will hopefully be a short-lived one!!! Motherhood can be trying for sure!!
SB, CM ...... Thanks for the kind words .... This person did some work for the studio I work at.... and worry about what she will say to the community about the business.... My son has been sick on and off since school started and he is also had a hard transition into HS..... Gallo is ninja-ing non stop so no love from him however JW has been a sweet boy sandpaper kisses.... Oh and having to share computer with hubby.... Yikes!
Good Morning! OP, I'm not on any sites other than here, and someone from h.s. tracked me down thru my w**k email, (as a public employee, I'm easy to find) asking me how my father is. I didn't reply; this Christmastime my Dad will be gone 5 years.
I am hoping today will go smoothly; it would be nice to have an upswing into the weekend after a rediculous and trying week.

Hahaha! Good one Azdeb! Good morning ladies. It's raining cats n proverbial dogs here this morning as I sip my morning coffee and nibble some sweet apricots. My only plans today is to stay warm, fed and dry. The weather changes are bringing my kitty crew indoors more which makes for nice, warm, fluffy, cuddlers. Yayyy! =D
Good one Deb - yep, made me smile! Hi Karen - sounds like a good day for you to cuddle with the fluffy ones. The sun is just coming out after a dreary day yesterday and a dark and stormy night last night. I'm determined to get out from under this dark cloud; a bit of sunshine on my face should help with that!

Good Morning fellow TDKers...grey and cool again today.That's 'cause it it November! Funny kits on cheezbug site, thank Azdeb...I'll have a piece of that Gato Gateau and a laarge black java to start my TGIF day! Wishes for all to have the best day yet this week plus hope little Abbie feels better fast for you CM! Mmm the gateau is choco thanks to the little tortie for giving me a big ol' slice!
Thanks for the wishes with Abbie...I need them. I called the dr and we are going at 1:30..at least we can rule out an ear infection or get it treated...
Kilroy..you nailed it on the head..she is trying to climb things and she can't even walk on her own yet...oh yea...she's going to be the one that kills me..lol.
I charged my phone so I will have it ready if MC texts me again. if so I will update everyone. I hope she feels better today.

Good Morning all! I was able to sit up in my own today and climb down the stairs of my bed this morning on my own! May not seem like much, but I have had to have help so this is a big leap for me!
CM Abbie may have an ear infection--it happens a lot at her age, but also it can be a manipulation of sort. It is comforting having Mom near and crying brings Mom. They learn that pretty quick and when comfort is needed a cry gets Mom to come and make it all better. It really isn't a bad thing other than sleep deprivation. It is good for Abbie to know she can count on you to be there for her.
OH although much good has come of advanced technology; it has also led to the practice of not having to communicate directly with people which seems to encourage the bully mentality in some. I have seem My Space and FaceBook destroy people. We just lost a teacher and I have heard about the pictures she has posted on FaceBook. We have been warned about inappropriate behavior being monitored. I will probably never know--nor do I have a reason to, but I can't help but think her actions on this media led to her leaving. May you have no lasting problem with this person, maybe the person will learn to grow up someday.
SM how are you? moving around is good... please take your time getting better!
this person is a 40 something woman and I know that she will hang herself by her own actions....I am just bothered by the drama and conflict she has caused and mad at myself for allowing her to make me feel like I was wrong...She was a Gallo hater and didn't want him at the studio and demanded that his litter box be removed! Ha, Gallo's box is there and is welcomed there anytime !
I just have to remember what someone said to me.... if you always tell the truth you never have to remember what you said....
TGIF everyone! I am still trying to dig my way to having everything on my list done before Wednesday. My only problem is that everytime I see the light at the end of the tunnel it is another train! I keep getting projects added to my hit parade!

It's Friday... oh yay! And it's payday - even better. Gearing up for a busy weekend.... Before that gets underway - I'd love a chocolate donut, a chai tea and whatever snuggly kitty isn't already taken.
SM - glad you are starting to heal and are able to get around a little on your own !
2P I can send you Fred..he is a big and I mean big snuggle bug..he needs some attention too..too many kids here..lol

Surgeon's office just called. They were following up from last nights visit. I have to say that this doctor is worth his weight in gold! I have never had a doctor or his staff check on me like this.
2P how is the day shaping up? Hopefully nice and sunny with a drop of extra fun for the weekend!
