   Hi from the eastern shore of MD--I have 3 female cats--Phoenix, a long hair calico, a real sweetheart, about 15 years old and very tiny, with all her hair she probably only weighs 5 lbs--Miss Kitty, rescued from a chicken plant where one of my older sons worked, she came in on a truck and no way to tell what farm she had escaped from, about 8 years old--and Bengal, a real tiger at times but she does give cute kisses who is 3, her mommy deserted her at about 2 weeks old so we raised her. Any one else from my neck of the woods?

   Afternoon Cathy, welcome to TDK! Live in Arizona myself so not near Maryland, but there are so many others whom live in the eastern part of the country. Click on any of our names shown in pink and you can see our furry families on www.catster.com .... if you have pictures you might want to put yours there too, than we can all admire them >^..^<

   I live in Seattle but am originally from W.Mass..I've spent time on the Atlantic Shore of Maryland at Assateague Island and nearby mainland National Parks;simply gorgeous!My only other family member that lives anywhere closer(brother)is in Chapel Hill,N.C..That's so touching to hear of Miss Kitty's rescue!There's KathyinVa. here and JoanfromNewJersey as well,they often post on the main page weekday a.m.'s.Stick around & make yourself at home! :)

   Hi, Cathy. Welcome to TDK! Dorie, staff to 3 kits, lives in New York and is a classroom aide to developmentally delayed young adults. She sometimes posts on the Night Shift thread which is started each evening. There is also a regular group that chats in the morning on the TDK Cafe thread.
