  1. I have a peace Lilly i was given at my dads funeral. When we went on vacation the pet/house sitter forgot to water it..so when i got home i had A LOT of dead brown and yellowish leaves...I thought the answer was to water it tons for a few days and it would come back....boy was i wrong!

I am guessing now ti has root rot, not a single leave left and barely 1 stalk...i have removed it from the dirt, took off all the mushy dead Root and i have a small amount of "healthy" white roots...is it possible to save it? How do i even go about trying to save it at this point? Is it better to re-pot this tiny bit of a plant in a small pot of try and grow it in water? Thanks guys!

  4. HZLB, I'm guessing it was a Spathiphyllum Peace Lily. Here are a couple of sites that may help. I have done the same to my 2 miniature versions and they have revived, however I have also killed some by forgetting to water them. I think it comes down to how badly it was dried out or over watered.

    Hope you can revive it.

  5. hothouses are usually good for saving plants. If you don't have one I'm not sure what you can do. Good luck
