35mm Film Camera?

  1. Hey everybody!
    So, Im in the market, looking for an inexpensive (less than 50 us dollars) 35mm film camera to take photos of raja with, and to use in my beginner photography class. Because im just starting, I don't really need a high-end model, just one that I can learn with and that actually works. My budget is $50 and id really like to find a good deal on/by Black friday. Can someone please suggest some? Thanks!

  2. Have you checked ebay or amazon? You might find something there. Since so many are going to digital I would think you might be able to find a good deal--but I don't know much about photography. Good luck on your hunt!

  3. Yeah, all I found on Ebay is the Argus C4, which im OK with, but I want to make sure I know all my options.

  4. What about your local newspaper? Most are online now and have a sales section. I sure wish I still had mine--I'd be happy to send it!

  5. If nothing else go to a pawn shop, they usually have some, or craigs list and/or your local camera/photo shop, one just never knows where you might find something like a camera.

  7. You might try Consumer Reports for recommendations, or just google "35mm cameras" and see if any comparisons pop up if you want to know which might be better. And I'm sure you know we will want to see those pics! :)

  8. Thanks Linda! So, I went through ebay again and narrowed down my top favorite choices to three.

    They are:
    the Nikon N50
    the Pentax ZX-30
    the Konica Minolta Maxxum Qtsi

    All three of these, as i understand, are 35mm cameras. Now i am trying to choose one. Thanks in advance!
