  1. Good evening to our N.American friends and happy Saturday to our friends in NZ and UK. Thought I would start the NS..it's been a while.
So to update everyone, I took Abbers to the dr. no ear infection..she's healthy. She has some stuff in her nose due to allergies..so I am to use saline solution for that..I told the dr about the whole waking up and the nights of he** and she said, she is teething, so due to the fact she's 19lb 12oz, I can give her more medication for that. Also, she said it can be a matter of..hey..mom comes when I cry..I can sleep whenever, so lets cry and get mom in here..she said I have to break the cycle if it's that. Which I am already starting to do. So I gave her the higher dosage of meds and her bottle at bed and I hope and pray she sleeps all night...pray for me. :)

Anyway, I am going to get some popcorn, and go watch a movie..Wayne is studying for his test tomorrow and I am going to leave him to it. Good night all. Catch you in the AM or the PM depending on your continent :)
    Hugs!!!

  6. On my way to the game Bumblebee I will be back in about an hour.

  7. Well we got there just in time for half-time. It was great as usual! Lots of my students were there and they were all over me. They actually want me to come back. I reminded them that I am a task master--they said they don't care they will even write for me!

  8. That's nice that your students were so pleased to see you SM. Hope you are feeling a bit better. Please don't overdo things though.

  11. Hi BB - how are you doing tonight? It's a grey miserable day here - much like how I feel. Have a stinky head cold, trying to work (on Saturday) and its my 17th wedding anniversary. Think we will celebrate next week when I am feeling better.

  12. Awww KK I am so sorry you aren't feeling well. But, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you though! How wonderful!
I am just fine today, had a very relaxing day off. Relaxed, watched TV and snuggled with my kitties for most of the day. I am enjoying watching all the Thanksgiving cooking shows and Christmas movies, etc. Also the Animal Planet channel. After having no TV for over a year, I am taking advantage of all the good shows. :)

  13. Thanks BB. We (well I) decided we shouldn't give each other gifts as we just had to replace the dishwasher. Apparently the 'official' gift for a 17th wedding anniversary is furniture so I figured a dishwasher counts as furniture. The new one is pretty much just furniture at the moment as we still haven't got it working - waiting on some parts they left out!

  14. I envy you your day, BB. But I think I would get awfully hungry watching Thanksgiving cooking shows!

  15. I am ready to watch Christmas movies! Daughter and I have a tradition of watching them on the day after Thanksgiving as we decorate. They won the game so our quest for a State Title continues--don't put those marching shoes away yet!!

I am sitting with Teaser at my side--she has her paw on me to make sure I don't move, and Sherlock is at my feet!

Posted 2 years ago by SoxsMom #

  16. I have on Iron Chef--not the US version. Yellowtail is the ingredient--looks so ymmy!

Posted 2 years ago by SoxsMom #

  17. Good work Teaser and Sherlock. You keep her right there.

Ah yellowtail on Iron Chef - no wonder Teaser and Sherlock aren't moving. They're probably drooling.

Posted 2 years ago by KapitiKats in NZ #

  18. Sherlock has a rawhide. Teaser is trying to share my ice chips--she is so into sharing is caring right now!

  19. Oh, how wonderful they won the game SM!!!!!! Awesome!!!! Your tradition sounds very special and sweet with your daughter, and watching Christmas movies. The kitties are so happy to have you home with them.
I have a question for you. A long time ago I emailed you, with a question or two, but never heard back from you. Maybe you never received it? I've been wondering.....

  20. Just popping in quickly before heading off to get dinner. Happy Anniversary KK, sorry you're not feeling up to par. Not surprised about your students missing you, SM, I bet they miss you HEAPS. Hi, Bumblebee, enjoy those shows, I love a good bit of telly, myself!

  21. KK glad you got a new dishwasher. But, sorry parts were left out. How inconvenient!!! When will they come in? Hope it isn't too long.

Posted 2 years ago by bumblebee #

  22. Hello and Good night Jcat!!! Sweet dreams to ya!

Posted 2 years ago by bumblebee #

  23. Nighty-night, BB, take care!

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  24. BB, we had an integrated dishwasher ie it matched the kitchen cabinets with covers that went on the front. When they sent the new one they obviously assumed it was for a new kitchen, not an existing one and left out some bits that we needed to re-integrate it. I hope the parts turn up soon as we have worn out a dish brush.

  25. .... KK!... Happy Anniversary KK!.... I think if you want a new dishwasher, you should get a new diswasher!... regardless of date or anniversary!

    *waves wildly* to Jcat......

  27. Just popping in briefly. About to make pizza for dinner and then Airy and I are off to the cinema to see "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Mr MS has chosen to stay at home and probably sleep in his chair with a happy Shadz on his lap.
