  1. . . . for vegetable oil as a laxative to start working? Stumpie hasnt pooped a poop since his troubles started on Monday. I gave him some veg oil this morning, and again this evening. I'll keep on giving it to him till I see some action. I've never had a constipated cat before, this is new ground for me. He's happy, playing, eating like there's not gonna be a sunrise tomorrow, I'd just be happier if he pooped.

  3. try more liquid.... if you can get him to drink more water.... also, stage one baby food meat has done wonders for Cuddles, not only in the "hairball" remedy, but also in the constipation category!....

  4. I give all my outdoor ferals Catsip cat milk. It assures me that it keeps them moving along since they have a drier diet than my indoor kits. I make sure they have plenty of water as well but, because my cash flow is almost non-existant, they get more kibble than canned, so the Catsip helps to balance their systems out.
I've never tried veg.oil before but, never had the need to. Good Luck & I'll put in some Prayers that Stumpie do a little poop. :)
