. . . for vegetable oil as a laxative to start working? Stumpie hasnt pooped a poop since his troubles started on Monday. I gave him some veg oil this morning, and again this evening. I'll keep on giving it to him till I see some action. I've never had a constipated cat before, this is new ground for me. He's happy, playing, eating like there's not gonna be a sunrise tomorrow, I'd just be happier if he pooped.

How long should it take . . .

I give all my outdoor ferals Catsip cat milk. It assures me that it keeps them moving along since they have a drier diet than my indoor kits. I make sure they have plenty of water as well but, because my cash flow is almost non-existant, they get more kibble than canned, so the Catsip helps to balance their systems out.
I've never tried veg.oil before but, never had the need to. Good Luck & I'll put in some Prayers that Stumpie do a little poop. :) -
Yay for poop!
omg - did I actually just say that? LOL!
Glad to hear that Stumpie is doing better!
