   I'm alittle on the gloomy side today. Tomorrow will mark the 24th Anniversary to my Mom's passing. I just want to tell her I Love her & she is missed every single day. Mom...we will see each other again someday & hey, maybe we could go out for a beer or 2 for old times sake. :)

   The day will come indeed Susie. Meantime...Mom looks over us constantly. Where do you think we get the strength to get us through all we come up against in life. Often I measure things I do or say against Mom..."What would Mom have done?" "Did I sound just like Mom?" I feel like she got us through so much when she was still here and that hasn't changed since she passed. She's a part of us Sis....forever. {{{Susie}}}

    Susie and Karen, Why don't we have a big group hug. I too am remembering my mother this week. She died 18 years ago Thanksgiving Day. Hugs to both of you.

    Thanks so much for your responses. I'm sure my sister feels it alittle more than I. My mom was residing at her & her family's house when she passed. The 4 of us kids soon realized that we all experienced a passing thru us from Mom at about the same time she left this plain of life. Makes my hair still stand on end when I think about it. She's sorely missed. Special Hugs for Karen this somber day While we reflect on all the beautiful things she taught us kids.
    BMM...a group Hug would be very appropriate. I know you all understand the loss.

    My darling mother's birthday is on November 25, Susie. She passed away in 1966 at the age of 48, and I think about her every day.

    I am sure your mother is going to my mother's birthday party! In the words of Crocodile Dundee, "They'd be mates!"

    Thanks everyone for your thoughts and kindness. There are so many loved ones lost at this time of year. I like to think it's Heaven's most beautiful time of of seasons. Imagine the fantastic view our loved ones have looking down upon us from high for the first time. Autumns color and stark form surely makes a perfect landscape for them to watch over us. Jeff lost his brother in 1979 to a car accident at age 20 so we both spend some time reflecting on the best of times with our loved ones during these times and also realize how much we love those we still have with us. It's all good. =)
