    Finally out of ICU

    So I asked her how she was feeling, can she talk on the phone,......I hope she responds....

  7. AMY!!!! Hugs!!! Sorry you are still feeling so lousy. Are you still on your back? Can you move your head? Headaches? I know..sorry too many questions....please don't go home until you know you are better. Is there someone at home to help with your recovery?

  10. They wouldn't move her out if they didn't think she was doing okay. MC you are doing a good job with your recovery. Continued prayer for pain relief. May you come home to Wilma and Betty--the very best kitteh nurses--when and only when you are strong enough.

    She's not feeling well at all. Feel better with no drain. Hearing is kinda muffled.

    This is awesome news!
    My nephew also had brain surgery after a car accident, when he was getting better he also complained of the hearing issue, it lasted for a few days and he can hear perfectly Now. Well what he wants to hear!!

  29. Amy, FF brought the rose and that's all that counts. Now, first of all

    HOORAY, YOU ARE OUT OF ICU WHERE NO ONE CAN GET A WINK OF SLEEP!!!!

    But, (this is your nurse speaking), they serve turkey in the hospital and with all of the trimmings. Please, please, please don't be in a rush to go home before you are really ready. Take this opportunity, surrounded by people who can care for you, to rest and to heal. Right now you are where you need to be.

  30. MC I am the worst patient in the world, but I have to echo WWM. After going through my little surgery in comparison, I wish I had stayed put in the hospital a little longer--especially as I look at the holes in me. It is okay to stay for an extra day. Please heal so that you can really enjoy Thanksgiving next year--you deserve a happy holiday!
