   Okay, she is home. Has had her first radiation treatment today and is really trying. She is very weak and I am not sure these treatments are the best for her right now but I am not a Dr... My brother will be meeting with her three cancer Dr's next week and try to get some answers. I wish I could stay with her longer but I need to go back on Saturday. I can honestly say that if I did stay I might end up sick...I don't know how people do it. I am up about every hour checking on her at night because she is restless.

   I am sorry for the downer since there seem to be so many lately...I am greatful to be here with her and to be enjoying what time her energy allows her to do. Thank you all for your kind words and I will be thinking of all those who are needing support also this holiday...we can do this, no matter what we can do this.

   Alicia you will NEVER be a downer! You are dealing with a very difficult situation and at one of the hardest time of the year. Please know you can always come here and seek solice and you know my address. You are doing this. Your Mom raised a great person and you are giving back to many to include your Mom. I am praying when you get home Saturday you are able to get some sleep--you need to preserve your health now too. Your brother will get answers and that will at least let you know where you stand. Sometimes knowledge is helpful, but always remember a postive attitude helps--even if it is fake. I am speaking about your Mom's attitude. If she can seem upbeat, even though inside she could have a wide range of emotions, it will help her get through this. My prayers are with you all.

   Alicia...Ditto what's already said!!! Wish you could stay with mom longer but the time you have now is precious. It sounds like your brother will be on top of things and you will undoubtedly talk to her via email and telephone. God Bless you all and prayers for strength and courage.

   And just so everyone knows, the 6 furrballs are doing fine with Daddy as babysitter this week. I still get my little sliver of mattress at the edge of the bed at night, as with Alicia not here they REALLY take up the rest of the bed now. Six cats all sprawled out, and daddy way over in the corner. Wow. :)

   Happy Thanksgiving everyone, including {{{hugs}}} to my loving wife. She's the best.

   Oh KD...Hahaah..I love the image of all the kits sprawled overtop of the bed at night! You're an awesome, loving, meowpa and so good to patiently support Alicia at such a tough time. Will be thinking of you and the kits tomorrow..hope you're at least feasting on a bit of turkey and gravy in Alicia's absence! =(

    I did give them some instructions but they were more about the litterbox than the bed...there might be some issues when I get home...hope KD doesn't mind the couch if needed...lol

    My prayers for your Mom,Alicia and KD. [[[[[Hugs of understanding]]]]
    I just went through this with my Dad when he passed in Sept. It was the hardest work I had ever done but the most rewarding. You are an awesome daughter for being with her.

    Sending special prayers for you & family plus blessings of strength/healing for your mom. This is a very challenging time for all of you. Hopeful that the doctors will shed some much needed information/treatment next week! My cousin's bfriend is in the hospital because of Cancer this holiday. We as his extended family will be visiting with him tomorrow too! Take care.
