I am doing my best to keep it together but I feel so bad. She started to have some nausea Wednesday and that passed but then today it would not go away. Finally after fighting through dinner at my brother's she asked to lay down. Chills, sweats, shaky...after a brief discussion it was back to the hospital. She finally was admitted and bro is finishing it up but they are looking for infection and doing a cat scan for an embelism(sp). I feel so bad for not taking it more serious yesterday...

Alicia you have taken everything serious and have been watching. Please do not think about that. You need to just be with her and help her through this set back. I am very thankful she is getting care. Prayers that the difficulty will be located soon and then fixed. Prayers of peace, comfort, and strength Alicia.

Alicia, has she been getting chemo? A friend of mine is going through that and is having the same reaction to is as you described your mom having. They finally decided to leave her in the hospital for a few days after every treatment to keep an eye on her.

Oh Alicia...sending prayers of comfort and healing to your mom. Please don't feel bad. Cancer is a disease that has it's good days and it's bad ones. When my mother was ill with lung cancer there were days when she seemed to feel better but would then get worse quickly. I'm sorry your mom is back in the hospital. {{{Alicia}}} {{{Mom}}}

GD...no treatments yet.
I honestly don't think she is strong enough for them. I am going to check in with the hospital later and go and see her but with it being across town it is hard to keep going back and forth right now with all the holiday shopper traffic...it is going to be hard because I am going to have to say goodbye to her in the hospital and it might be for the last time...I am just so sad and alone. Karma's Daddy is beside himself because he can't be here for me.

{{{Alicia}}} Earlier this month Jeff went to S. Ca. (we're in Oregon) to have what will likely be his last visit with his mom. She has been dependent on a pacemaker for years and now the battery life in it is winding down and she's chosen not to replace it. It was a very emotional visit for him and the trip home felt so lonely for him. You're not alone sweetie. Be strong. God Bless.
