It actually RAINED at my house, not around it, not in the distance, but at my house. The only Christmas cards I got off were the ones going overseas, finally found some of my other boxes after much searching this afternoon.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! fill in my tax form, already got a late filing fine that's about a 1/4 of what I earned. Grrrrrrrrrrr
I also had to re-schedule my mammogramme as I forgot all about it last week and was helping Mum make 7 dozen Christmas mini fruit tarts. Oops, can't get in until February-March next year now.

Yep, even the elements approve, Deb, they know you have to keep that lemon tree watered for all the lemonade and gin and tonics it's going to supply... :)
Get an accountant, MS, then you can file your form (almost) as late as you like. Mind you, they charge like wounded bulls, you'll still probably end up paying out over a quarter of what you earned...
I only earned a small amount being Mum's carer after she broke her foot last year. I just have to get my A into gear and fill it out.

Sheeshhhhh boy they want to talk a lot this evening! Actually have 3 lemons that have fallen off the tree, I have been watering it regularly.

Oh, yum, yum, Deb, you could make lemon chiffon pie.... actually, I don't know how many lemons that takes but it's just about my favourite dessert in the universe... (apart from tiramisu, chocolate brandy pie, pannacotta... ooh, there are so many lovely desserts in the world)
Don't waste those lemons Deb, if you can't use them now toss them in the freezer.
Time for me to head up to bed and move HRH Shadz into the middle of the bed. Hoping that she has abandoned our bed and gone back to Airy for the night.

It's 6:30am here..off to get a hot cuppa tea....mmmm. I am sitting in the dark with only the lights of the Christmas tree on...pretty.
Christmas cards..Mine are DONE..just have to mail them out. I have to go get more stamps today. I do wait till Dec to mail them at least. Every one teases me that I am the first card they always get.

jcat..I have always done Christmas cards early..I did them in the wee hours when I was awake and the kids were not or after they went to bed.
I did get a good nights sleep too thank you...I am thinking that slowly Abbers is getting used to sleeping at night..She woke up once while I was awake..I went in there, she wanted her bottle..which had only milk, so gave it to her, she drank a bit then went to bed and been quiet all night. YAY
You are a busy woman jcat, so you will get the tree and cards when you can :)

Morning CM! Congrats on getting your cards done already. Normally I am done with mine too, but this year with not feeling well myself and Mom passing, things are just disoriented as heck.
