  1. Sammy and Olivers Mama...So glad to hear the good report on Oliver...I know it will be hard for you to leave him for 7 days...But it sounds like you have a sitter lined up..I'm sure he'll be fine, and ready to really snuggle by the time you get back..maybe you should set up a webcam so you can look in on him online!!!

  6. Remember on the show "The Nanny" when Fran had some wasabi (japanese horseradish) and her voice turned normal for 10 seconds ?, and then went back to its nasally sound. That made me ROTFLMAO !!! (with tears of laughter running dwn my face...) !!!

  7. Morning spent at court today. Am I too late for breakfast? Mocha and chocolate cookies is all I had time for.

  8. Karin--what happened at court?

Posted 4 years ago by Catwoman #

  9. TRO (temporary restraining order) issued, three months.

Posted 4 years ago by SylvesterMiasMomma #

  10. Was he there?

Posted 4 years ago by Catwoman #

  11. Yes with a friend who was making faces at the Judge (smiling, raising eyebrows, etc). The judge didn't like that so she admonished the court. She said for everyone to refrain from facial expression while the court proceedings were going on.

  18. Queen Mary Potatoes are something that Huddy's Mama makes. She has talked about them and I need her to post the recipe again. They sound like awesome comfort food to me.

  19. This is what she posted during Thanksgiving:

I do it from memory, but I'll see if I can think this out - lol

    Queen Mary Potatoes

    8 large potatoes
    White Pepper
    1 carton of heavy cream
    1 can of evaporated milk
    1 bag of colby cheese

Peel potatoes and slice (mine always look like little stop signs)
Rinse potatoes and place in baking dish, add pepper to taste
add heavy cream & milk(enough to cover potatoes), and generously sprinkle colby cheese on top.

Bake on 325 until potatoes are soft and cheese is bubbly

    Dig in and enjoy

    SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
    ½ C MILK
    ¼ # BUTTER

BUTTER CASSEROLE DISH. LAYER POTATOES FIRST, THEN PART OF ONION, GREEN PEPPER AND PIMENTO MIXTURE, DOT WITH BUTTER, SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE. SPRINKLE WITH FLOUR. REPEAT LAYER UNTIL ALL INGREDIENTS ARE GONE.TOP WITH BREAD CRUMBS. ADD MILK DOWN SIDES OF DISH. DOT WITH BUTTER.BAKE 1 HOUR AT 350.

Note: Put casserole dish on cookie sheet to avoid a mess as the casserole is
    supposed to bubble over! Yum!

My sister-in-law made it for our Thanksgiving Dinner this year while staying at our house.
