  1. Anyone else unable to sleep?

  2. MC, lol they would get upset with me if I went to sleep now....w***ing...but I didn't sleep today but maybe 1-2 hrs, Max decided he needed to lie on my lap all day.

    Did watch a movie, 12 Men for Christmas....sort of a take off on The Calendar Girls with a small town making a calendar of their Search and Rescue Squad so they could buy needed equipment.

  5. Sure can't sleep but I am wired up. I have Wilma sleeping on my lap and Betty right next to us. I feel pretty decent except for one very stiff neck!

  6. Ouch, know the feeling, sat up all day with Max on my lap...even in the chaise lounge my neck is feeling it now, could use a definate neck massage right about now.

  7. Me, too! I told FF and he said there was NO WAY he was touching my neck or head. Too afraid he might mess something up! I doubt he could mess it up more than it already is!

  10. I know super or gorilla glue works wonders!!! Or is that gorilla glue that is used for some ppl that I know to find their b**t cheeks, lol....oh sorry off on another thought there for a moment :P

  13. MC, ask FF for a foot massage, that can be as wonderful as the head and neck massage and he can't injure your feet surely.
    Sorry you two have aches and pains tonight. Oh Max, cuddling with Mama all day, lovely. I bet just having you close helps Max feel a bit better Deb.

  16. Oh MS, I wish! I am violently ticklish on my feet. I almost smacked someone in the hospital for changing my socks. Its so bad it almost hurts. FF tried to put on my tennis shoes once and I had to stop him. I can't have others near my feet. The doc says it is the heightened nerves in my feet from all the damage I have done them (YES, my feet are BAD TOO!). Surgery on both, left broke twice, left sprained 8 times, right foot broke five times and sprained at least 15. Growing up I ALWAYS had a cast/brace on my feet. I was but am not now very athletic and a real go getter!

  17. Hi, MS, fancy meeting you here ;-)

    MC, my bit of NZ -- the Wairarapa -- was hot and sunny. I had no excuse not to wrestle with the hedge again, up a ladder with a power tool. Sometimes I pretend I'm Linda Hamilton with a rocket launcher hee hee but today I just felt a bit tired and over it... Still got some bits to do but I've done the roadside bit of the hedge, I'm now safe from the local council, thank goodness...

    My poppies look lovely and so do my old-fashioned roses. A local schoolboy came round to mow my lawn. The garden almost looks civilised. Libby had to supervise the hedge trimming but she also has to pretend she doesn't know me when we're out together so she hid in a hole in the neighbour's hedge and watched from there but refused to answer me.

    Jasper doesn't mind admitting he's with me but when I asked him to help by sweeping up all the hedge clippings, he somehow disappeared. MEN!

  19. I'm very ticklish on my feet too but find if the massage is firm enough that I can just block the tickle part out of my mind. Sounds like you are a whole lot more sensitive though. Totally understand the sprained ankle bit, mine are weak right offs now and the right ankle is permanently fatter than the left, very attractive.

  21. LOL at Libby supervising from the neighbours hedge. Shadz would be up the ladder if I let her. Jasper, fancy leaving mummy to rake up all the clippings.
    We had an indifferent sort of morning but this afternoon was sunny and hot. I went to a tyre retailer and got 3 punctured tyres so I can grow my peanuts in them and anything else I just happen to have pop up.

  22. MC, I love Jasper but all he is really good at is getting on my lap, demanding food and jumping on his sister... He used to be good at fighting and -- ahem -- running round with the lady cats too but that was before he calmed down (and got neutered, of course)...
