Christmas for your felines.

(8 posts)
  1. Now, I KNOW most of you are like me and put up stockings/wrap presents for your babies.

What do you plan on getting your felines this year?

So far, I'm having trouble actually finding any cute presents outside of the usual packs of balls and stuff... I don't really see anything out of interest that my kitties would like.

I have thought about getting them the kitty laser toy.

I'm ordering some things off it for me and my fiance anyhow; so I figure it would be a nice little tack on.

Anyway, what do you have planned?

  2. A laser toy sounds like a neat idea.

We've talked about getting 1-2 beds for the cats since they tend to sleep on our chairs or floor usually, so they might appreciate a nice soft bed to call their own. We've also discussed getting one of those cat playgrounds they have at target, and we saw a one they'd probably enjoy. Other than that, maybe another small toy?

And after Christmas, a super awesome gift: the gift of being spayed! :O

  3. My babies love their laser toy. The thing they like best about the holidays though, are romping through wrapping paper, making the tree wiggle and sneaking little bits of turkey.

One thing you need to be careful of is ribbon. Some cats like to eat it and it can be extremely dangerous to them, especially if you see an piece sticking out (either end) and tug on it.

  4. Mitzi believes the wrapping paper is her new toy. She especially loves to make it into a tent and hide under it. She will be getting her favorite greenie treats and some fresh strong catnip to play on the floor with. Redford will get a new bow for his urn. It's our first Christmas without him--but I truly believe he will be here anyway, watching the festivities.

  5. Hmm....I think that kits may get a water bowl that recircates and the water is always moving... The boxers are getting nice pillows, and this is my first Christmas without my beautiful and beloved boxer, greta. It was hard to see her stocking,,,,, however Gallo first !!

  6. Leela will be getting a new feather wand - there's not much left of the one she has now. I suppose some treats are in order too since she doesn't get them often. On Christmas Eve, Larry will probably be under the tree, waiting for Santa, instead of his usual post at the bedroom window!

  7. Catnip toys and maybe some special moist food instead of their usual for my two cats.

  8. Along with some nip/new toy I'm getting them some Frontline Flea stuff to prevent any new visitors! They are both flea free now but I don't need any surprises when it warms up again!(that is $$$ enough for 2 kits!!!)
