  1. Good Morning! Afternoon! Evening! Today is Civil Rights Day here in the USA. Since I can't sleep thought I might find out what was special about today. Once again it is cold and blustery and the kittehs are making a delicious menu for you.

    Omelets-Cheese, Ham, Bacon or Veggie
Breads-French Toast, Pancakes, Choc. Chip Pancakes, Whole Grain Pecan Pancakes
    Burritos-Sausage, Steak, Bacon or Cheese/Veggie
    Pasteries-Donuts, Bagels, Muffins, Cinnamon Rolls
Cereal-Grits, Oatmeal, Cream of Wheat and Granola
    Fruits-any and every kind
    Yogurt-Plain or with Fruit

Kittehs have the fire roaring and the Christmas music on! Come join us! I know my friends on the East Coast will check in soon! I hope I go to bed soon!

  2. Goodmorning MC, I'll help myself to French toast(never had it before) and some whole grain pecan pancakes(try saying that fast three times) and a cappuccino.
You just sit back and try to relax and unwind, try counting sheep.

  3. *Pushes open door, all out of breath.*

Okay, I just scooted over from the night shift. I will have some of those pecan pancakes too please, with maple syrup and a latte! Think I'll go and get myself a coffee in real life too, BRB...

I would count lambs, MC, they're so cute when they all run up and down a field at the same time for no earthly reason! Or they all jump straight up in the air -- sPrOing -- just like Tigger!

  4. LOL at the image of our Tigger as a lamb. Awwwwwwwww
Every time I try counting sheep all I end up doing is checking to see if they need shearing or their feet trimming, then the dog races in and the sheep scatter and I have to start all over again. That's what you get for being a shepherds wife.

  5. LOL @ MS!

How rude of my computer, it logged me off as it obviously downloaded some updates and decided to restart. It must be as cold as me as it took forever to reboot.

  6. Are you making use of the warmth your computer is generating MC.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  7. yes! it is sitting on my lap since the girls are all snuggled together in bed

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  8. ROFLMAO at MS! No good trying to count cats either, they're even worse! Jasper just wiped out my last post as soon as I wrote it, he is rubbing against my shoulder and sitting on the keyboard...

That WAS very rude of your computer, MC, mine disconnects from the Internet every half hour, no matter what the connection setting is, if I'm in the middle of a long post, I lose it all :(

  9. MC, does that mean the girls have taken over your bed and you are hunched over your laptop somewhere else, all on your own, while they snore on obliviously? Isn't that just typical of KITTIES?

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  10. That's what HRH Shadz is doing, I found her flat on her back on the bed when I went up several nights ago. She was oblivious to me too, her legs were spread carelessly and her head twisted the opposite direction to the rest of her. She didn't even flinch when I tickled her tummy or when I slid my hands under her and mover her to the middle(ok, Mr MS's side)of the bed. She was totally out to the count.

  11. YES, that is exactly what it means. I am on the couch and the girls are in the bedroom. Hardly seems fair and YES Wilma is quite the snore-r! I just peeked on them and they rolled over the other direction away from the door. What a life!

  12. Typical cat!
You can almost hear them saying 'Oh go away, you're disturbing my sleep!' Their Mummy needs the sleep more.

  13. Ohh. I had to poke one of the little kittens at the shelter today, there are four of them in the litter and three of them were playing from the moment I arrived to the moment I left but the fourth, a little tabby, was just lying fast asleep cuddled up, not moving, not even when his brothers and sisters sat on him, leapt on and off him licked him and leaned on him -- I just had to poke to make sure he was alive! He yawned and stretched without opening his eyes and went straight back to sleepytime...

  14. Betty and Wilma, why aren't you taking better care of your Mama?

I think Jasper is cross with me, he just stalked out of the office and went to lie on the floor of the living room, in the dark. He must be feeling too hot to lie on the couch :(

  15. LOL at sleepy kitty. They surely can give you a start when they do that can't they Jcat.
Time for me to wander off and stake my claim on the bed. That involves moving HRH, hopefully she's sleepy enough to not object.
Goodnight/morning to you both and chin scritches to Betty,Wilma,Libby & Jasper. MC, sleep well when the sandman finally arrives and sweet dreams to you both.

  16. Good night MS, Mr. MS, and HRH.

  17. Ok, it is now 5am CST. I am gonna go try a shower since I haven't slept yet. Warm milk was yummy but didn't work. JCAT, if you and the cats go to bed, goodnight. If anyone signs on in my abscence, good morning. Have a really great day and I will be back in a bit. (Prays for sleep!)

  18. Nighty-night, MS, sleep well and sweet dreams! Catch you tomorrow. I'm sorry the warm milk didn't work, MC, enjoy that hot shower and have a great day (and a nap sometime during it!) today, if I'm gone by the time you get back. I'm just going to finish my cup of coffee and then disappear too.

  20. *drags self into cafe...sits in comfy chair* morning all.
I am beyond tired. Up with Abbie at midnight..then from 3:30 till after 5am...After the 3 time in her room, I had to let her cry it out...well that took over 40 minutes...I am so tired..I fell back asleep on the couch close to 5:30 and up at 6:30 from Fred wanting to eat.
    How is everyone today?

Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

  21. Good morning, ladies. MC, I'm soooo sorry you were sleepless last night, I know what that's like & it sucks monkey toes (sorry CM, just had to steal your expression). And poor CM, too, up and down all night. I think that when I win the Megamillions tonight, I'm going to send you both on a nice vacation somewhere (right after I pay all of MC's medical bills).

It's 22 degrees here today, brrrr. I think I'll help myself to some hot chocolate and snuggle with a nice long-haired kitty to warm up.

Posted 2 years ago by Kilroy #

  22. Oh Kilroy that would be wonderful. :) Sad all I want to do is sleep at this point.
You are warmer than we are for sure. It's bitter here. Supposed to warm up to 35 tomorrow. Whee

Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

  23. Gee, Kilroy, I would feel guilty if you paid my medical bills but the trip sounds great. I am beyond tired. How is your head Kilroy!?

CM, tell Abbie to SLEEP! One day she will want to sleep and can't!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  24. I have MC...I just don't know what her issue is...If I go into her room and sit with her for 3 minutes, she usually goes right back to sleep...so I am okay with that...but there are times....holy cow....

Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

  25. My head's OK for now, MC, thanks for asking. It tends to get worse the longer I'm upright (is that an excuse to stay in bed?). Lying flat helps, but gets really boring really fast :)

We finally got rid of the cardboard box that George has been using as a bed for months, since we just brought a new box into the apartment & he immediately claimed it as his. I was afraid he might get upset when the first box disappeared, but he seems fine. Plus, the new box came with big sheets of wadded up paper, which make a great combination nest/toy :)

Posted 2 years ago by Kilroy #

  26. Oh Georgie!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  27. ((Kilroy and MC)) You both are such strong amazing women to deal with your head issues. I would have put my head through a wall by now and called it quits.

Awww Georgie has a new box with paper!! :) Merry Christmas

  28. That's "Meowy" Christmas CM!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  29. Oh Sorry :) You are right MC..Meowy Christmas!
