Binky is at the Bridge

Susie I am so sorry. Jiggs visited me in a dream with someone who I did not recognize - I'm guessing it was Binky. What a precious gift you gave him after so many years together. You are bonded together forever.

Hi, Feral, be gentle with yourself,you did the best thing for Binky, he will never suffer again,and is at peace,and love lives forever,and you gave him a wonderful home in his life,and so much love. Be well, and take good care of yourself,dont neglect yourself while your mourning, Binky doesnt want you to become ill. God Bless you.

Susie, just catching up. I am sorry for your loss; it is always hard to lose them, and when they have been in your life for a long time I think it is even harder. You certainly don't need to feel any guilt. You took excellent care of Binky and gave him a life that he certainly would not have had if you had not rescued him. Give the other kits an extra hug. {{Susie}}

Oh, sweetie, I'm soooo sorry! You know that Binky loved you so much and is forever grateful to you that you eased his pain. Sometimes it really sucks to the do 'the right thing', but you know that you did what was best for him. Again, I'm so sorry--hopefully, he has met my beloved Spanky and the two of them are gossiping about that mean 'ole psycho cat that keeps hissing and growling for no apparant reason (my Mom and Dad's Tut--Psycho Cat). {{{hugs}}}

Thank You All. I can't get past the horrible,horrible guilt I feel. Mr.Useless is determined that I pay a big price. He's now resorted to calling me nothing more than a cat killer/murderer. He thinks (w/what little mind he has left) that I should've allowed Binky to suffer another 2 days then take him to the vet. And, he thinks all vets including my own compassionate vet are all cat killers. This is a no-win.

IGNORE MR. USELESS. He's too much of a coward to endure the pain, and is incapable of the love that led you to help Binky to the Bridge.
Just think of the peace Binky is enjoying now, and the wonderful reunion you will someday have with him. And anytime Mr. U starts getting to you, just reread OW's post. In fact, print it out and carry it with you.
I know what it's like, not being able to stand one more night of watching them suffer. It was like that with my Katie. I took her to the emergency clinic in the middle of the night on a Memorial Day weekend. She left for the Bridge at 12:45 that Sunday morning.

Susie, you did everything you possibly could for Binky as any good Meowmy would, now he is free from pain and happily playing at the Bridge with all his old friends.

Mr. Useless is exactly that! You did what was right for Binky and I am sure he felt nothing as he passed, so don't beat your self up.
