Dear, dear Terri, never feel that you deserve less than you want or need. I know that being alone while ill is one of the worst experiences. Your cousin should hang her head in shame that she uttered such hurtful words. You are a wonderful, caring person, you are loved and valued by all here on TDK. You have a wonderful support group with the TDK'ers! Terri, we've probably all felt the way you have at some time in our lives. There are times we feel so alone and that no one cares. When you're feeling depressed and alone, just come to TDK chat and let us surround you with love and prayers and comfort. Remember, you don't get to pick your relatives, but you have picked wonderful friends here and we have picked you, especially because you a good friend, too!

Terri, I know it's difficult to get through serious illness without adequate support. It's terribly frightening to sit around and wonder how sick you might get.
Please remember that you have all of us, any time you need us. We're only a few electrons away. :-)

Terri...you are not alone. I remember when I was feeling down like yourself...and because of your concern,I was greeted at my door with a complimentary check-up from our local police force. You have no idea how warm a feeling that was to have someone reach out half across the country showing they care about your welfare. Your always in my heart & never alone. Trust me. As the others said, we are here for you. What you did for that little autistic girl will someday be returned to you. Remember, we can't pick our relatives (A-holes sometimes)but you have picked us!

Terri, I'm not a violent person, but I would dearly love to slap your stupid cousin for being so heartless. I'm so glad you have all your TDK family inundating you with email addresses and phone numbers, I know from my own experience just how much support you can and will draw from them. Hang in there, call your brother and share your feelings with him. Hang in there, and come here and rant whenever you need to. xx
