   i need some advice about my cat Sam. you see he is VERY skiddish of me. But he seems to be glued to my grandmother. P.S i am a FIRST time cat owner

   Welcome to TDK Cubkinz, it seems like Sam has taken a shine to your Grandmother. Just watch how she interacts with him and try and do the same and you and Sam will be the best of friends soon. Anything else you want to know just ask here, there are lots of friendly cat lovers here.

   Cats have different personalities, just like people. Sam may just like your grandmother. Or maybe you move faster or talk louder than grandma and it makes the cat nervous. You can't force a kitty to like you, it comes slowly. If you tend to grab him when he's not expecting it, that will make him skittish.

   Also, cats have different traits at different ages. He may find grandma more comforting right now but decide you are more fun to play with when he's a little older. Is he a kitten now?

   Watch how your grandmother interacts with kitty. Does Sam spend time with her when she is sitting? If so, try sitting next to her and see if that attracts Sam. Is she the one who feeds him? That goes a long way towards making a kitty like you.
