    Great news that they both are doing well. My brother and kids went thru the exact same thing last month. Why do idiots get on the road that impaired and put us all in danger?

    abit of a set back somehow they just found out she lost alott of blood and they have to do a blood transfusion so she isnt coming home today

    They didn't discover blood loss until now? Very odd. Makes you wonder if they are missing something else. It has been over 24 hours and they are just realizing she lost enough blood to need a transfusion--does she have internal bleeding and from where?

    i am not even sure yeah it is very odd they should have found it earlier!!its rediculous they did two cat scans but i doubt that can detect anything i dont know though i am very un settled about it

    Has there been any news on you Mom? I hope she is doing all right, and that the docs are being very careful with her and taking every precaution so she is not sent home too soon until they know all the facts. You all will continue to be in my prayers.

    Just catching up from the Holiday--hope all is well with your mom--odd they didn't catch it sooner. Long Island NY has the right idea on drunk drivers--they lose the car they are driving for good, even if it doesn't belong to THEM! Last I heard it has reduced the DUI totals considerably.

    Hopefully she can rest and regain strength. Did the have to do a tranfusion for bruises? Praying that she will be okay.
