I almost feel bad asking for your prayers. My mom finally got around to taking my Molly to the vet as her face swelled up again. I asked her why she hadn't taken Molly yet. Well the vet was very unhappy with my mom that she hadn't addressed this sooner. She might have a full blown infection in her system. She has to stay for tests and medicine. If you could spare one more prayer, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Prayers for both of you, honey. And don't you even think of not asking for prayers. That's one thing that any of us can offer, and please don't deny us the privilege of asking for help for you.
After all, it means that we talk to the One who can do the most good, and the quickest. We talk to Someone we love about someone we love.
And I am starting another novena now.

Molly is home and my mom says walking like a drunken sailor! The vet cut open her wound, drained it and cleaned it really good. What did he find inside? Some little green Christmas tree needles. She loves to rub her face on the Christmas tree, must have cut her face and got some needles lodged in her cheek. They are all out now and she is on a week long antibiotic. Your prayers have helped this little one thru. Thank yoU!

This is great news. I was heartsick to learn that she hadn't gone to the vet (yeah I know, she'd have hated it) and that her face had swelled again. I am so relieved that it sounds like she is gonna do just fine. Did she get the long-acting shot? I just learned of it over the holidays when my Leo had a horrible abcess that burst. He is 16 pounds of muscle (mostly... well, some* is muscle) and when he doesn't want to be pilled, he gets his way. So I asked if there was a long acting shot and sure enough! He recovered beautifully and so will Molly!

Oh, Molly - maybe it is time for an artificial tree in your house! But thank goodness you are okay, little one.

LOL, Lily. My cats don't have muscles or fat, but they sure have heavy fur.
