  4. Hello all!!!! All this food sounds YUM!!! Mmmmm.....

Posted 2 years ago by bumblebee #

  5. I'd love some mac and cheese, please with a glass of milk.
I've been taking it easy this afternoon, napping and reading and trying to get all the way over my cold. Bobby has been helping by sleeping on my stomach :)
I just finished my book and am getting a bit bored. GG is working a hockey game so I'm on my own.

  6. Hi BB, feeling any better? How is the headache?

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  7. GD, what's the name of your book? Good for you napping! The cats got me up in the middle of the night to eat again. :/ buggers.....
MC,is your head feeling better? My headache is gone, but the post nasal drip started again when I got to work. The dust and different smells there really seem to bother me, plus it is cold from the door. My allergies are so bad anymore! I talked to a few other co workers and they were sick too and the symptoms were very similar to mine. It bothers everyone to different degrees.
Peter Paul and Mary is on right now. I love those guys!!

  9. Evening all, I'm going to be a party pooper and not have any food. I found a skirt and jacket for Meegz wedding yesterday and I still have a wee way to go to fit the jacket so it buttons. So, it's NO bad foods for me for the next 2.3 months and more exercising.
Having said that I am in the process of making nectarine jam from our own fruit we picked before the neighbours kids picked them too. Wonderful aroma here.

  10. Nectarine jam sounds delicious, MS!
BB I just finished a book by Carla Neggers called Cold River - it wasn't very good. I started another one last night called Say Goodbye by Lisa Gardner - I like her books so I'm looking forward to getting into it more. It's a thriller/mystery type book.

  11. My head is feeling much better now. I swear I now have a barometer in my head, I can tell when the pressures change outside. MMMM, nectarine jam, will be right over MS! GD, glad you got to relax today. I know how you feel, FF has been really busy doing "side jobs" to make extra money seeing that he is paying two mortgages. Its just me and the girls tonight.

  12. Mmmmmm.... nectarine jam! How cool you made you own jam! Sorry you have to diet for the next few months MS..... No fun at all!

  13. MC, how are you and your head feeling ? Is the nausea gone ?

Posted 2 years ago by CSBM #

  14. Anyone ever have Pirate's Booty snacks? Puffed rice and corn. I love the veggie ones. I'm eating some right now. They are on sale.

  15. I'm reading for the umpteenth time 'The Spitfire" by Beatrice Small. set in Scotland at the time of Richard III. steamy at times...

13 year old English girl marries 30 year old half brother to the Scottish king. she was abducted by this man in retaliation for her fiance killing his fiance. her fiance marries her mother to get legal claim to her property. when half brother to the king hears this, he marries her to help her regain her property. and of course they eventually fall in love and have a baby. but there are many plot twists and turns and it is pretty steamy at times...

  16. Cheri, sorry about your sad visit today. HUGS my friend.
How are the socks coming along? Is the scarf finished?

Posted 2 years ago by bumblebee #

  17. I think I mentioned I read an Amish story book recently someone gave me. Fiction, in Lancaster, Pa. I have the sequel too, but haven't started it yet. It was really good too!
I haven't heard of either of your books Cheri and GD.

  18. i sock is done and I made a dishcloth too but it didn't come out too good. the sock is great. i started on a scarf today made out of yarn that looks like it has wisps of feathers on it. uses 10.5 needles and i lost the tail end in it but that's OK. the yarn is white, gray, and black and cost $1.35 for 57 yards. I'm reading tonight because I don't feel like doing anyting else. later i'll go onto pogo.com and do some slot machine tourneys with online people.

Monday I'm going to call the library and see if they know of any knitting groups.

I'm not going to feel sorry for myself. My female biological decided to have a temper tantrum as a way to seize control and it didn't work. I'm going on without her.

  19. I'm getting bored by myself, MC, since I have neither internet nor tv. I think I'm going to read my other book for a while. I'm so bored, I've threatened to give poor Bobby a bath - but poor guy shouldn't have to pay for me being bored!

Posted 2 years ago by GreatDane #

  20. Sorry I disappeared, had to put the jam into the jars. I got 8 jars from 3.3lbs of fruit. I now have25 jars of various flavours of jam.
MC, I have barometers in my knees and can tell when it's going to rain sometimes up to 3 days before. They hurt and swell up, if too painful I take paracetamol.
Cheri, your knitting sounds interesting, and who cares what a dishcloth looks like as long as it works. I hope you can find a great knitting group.

  21. Oh INDEED GD, do NOT give Mr. Bob a bath just cause you are bored!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  22. Read GD, read. Save your relationship with Bobby.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  23. Well, he could use one, MC - it's been over a month. But I haven't been home with them all week really so I should be nice an let him enjoy his evening sleeping on his kitty castle.

Posted 2 years ago by GreatDane #

  24. Will do, MS! I will tell him Aunties MS and MC saved him from a bath. He'll be very thankful!

Posted 2 years ago by GreatDane #

  25. Hi everyone! Still stuffed from the cheesecake factory so no food for me, thanks! We are headed back to NYC tomorrow early morning. How I was talking about Shadow earlier : here is one photo of shadow laying down taken today compared to one photo of taco laying down taken a few days ago. Look at how much tinier poor Taco is! And Shadow is a full year younger than him! Taco looks like the baby.

  26. OMG! Who used the ball inflater on Shadow. He is Rubenesque.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  27. I know he is such a big boy! I can't believe it. He is so heavy when you pick him up compared to Taco. Super floofy too. LOL it does look like a ball inflater was used, hahahaha

Posted 2 years ago by gini #

  28. Because it's summer here lots of cats have dropped in weight, Shadz is way smaller than during winter and Meegz cat Ruby is too. Her fiancee's cat hasn't lost any weight though, he's all muscle and heavy as.

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  29. OMG, MS! That rubenesque comment really made me laugh. But he is one HUGE cat! I am loving the one of Taco!

    Posted 2 years ago by mollycat71 #

  30. Gini!... your pics are always so beautiful!.... I love them!....sweet TACO!!!
