Insomnia come to visit again so I thought I might come in early and help the kittehs set up a lovely Sunday Buffet. It is all action in the kitchen as flour is flying, grills are cooking, ovens baking, fruits a slicing and goodies being set up. I see homeade cinnamon rolls from the Ragdoll, fresh crusty bread from the Meezers, some Tuxies are dipping crossiants in Chocolate, the Maine Coons are slicing up fresh fruits, and the Tabby is getting the oatmeal/grits ready. So much action, so many kittehs running feverishly about. Kittens are snuggled in baskets still sleeping, not aware of all the hustle and bustle. We have all sorts of pasteries, breads, hot/cold cereals, fresh fruit/cheese tray, hash browns, bacon and sausage, yogurt, roast beef, turkey, prime rib, salad, veggies, and desserts (that part is for late comers who want brunch!). The champagne is fully loaded, the coffee is brewing and hot cocoa and tea are available. There is also juice, milk, and water. Come on in, enjoy, relax, and welcome to Sunday! For our Kiwi's, good night, sleep tight. =^.^=

Good morning MC and Deb. I can't sleep either - my hip is hurting. Bobby just got me up to feed him and my hip "caught" again, so now it hurts even more :(
I'd love some hashbrowns and some apple juice. Can I grab a sleepy kitty, too? Mine are not sleepy at all and Bobby is being a loudmouth. -

Night JCAT, hi to those who have come in. I am trying to nap here on the couch but the only one of us that is napping is Wilma. At least she calmed down from earlier. I would love some crispy hashbrowns with cheese on them! Pepper and ketchup too!

Just had lunch (chunk of baguette with corned beef and Branston pickle, yum) and prepared dinner (roast chicken and roasted vegetables). Dinner is in the oven on the timer so it will come on while I am at church this evening and be almost cooked by the time I get home. All I will need to do is put on the peas, warm the plates and serve it.
Went into school after the morning service. I only had 45 minutes there, but I got a lot of useful stuff done in that short time. In a moment I have to get on with checking all my schemes of work have been updated for this academic year, and writing up some parental contact reports. good morning !!! i would love a chocolate croissant, hash browns, bacon and hot cocoa with whip cream. i will also take a basket of snuggly kittens, they sound lovely !!! i will eat on the sofa in front of the TDK fireplace please. a fire in the fireplace is always warm and inviting !!!

Hi everyone! A bit late start for me today. I did get up and shower fairly early, but it's a grey dreary day and I have no plans to go anywhere, so it was a morning of leisure. Read the paper - they're re-opening the IGA that's on my way home from work, big news for me as it's sooo convenient. When it closed a few months ago boro officials said the owner should have come forward and perhaps some help could have come but that only tells me that they obviously don't patronize their own town's businesses or they would have known what customers knew for months.
Anywho, no, I didn't get the Christmas stuff packed away yesterday and no it doesn't look like it will happen today. The football games will start soon (go Jets, hehe!) and we will mosey down the street in a bit to check in on neighbor's cats we are watching. Sometimes I just feel like rewarding my workweek's hard work with a weekend of semi-laziness. Don't feel bad, Joan - I did lots of napping and reading today and met my friend for tea, so my tree is still up!
Just shared a turkey sandwich (well, the turkey, anyway) with the boys, now reading for a bit before going to GG's.Hope everyone had a nice day and will have a nice evening. I can't believe the weekend's over already! Sigh!

I will be able to put the bi-fold doors back on the closet before the end of the day. Still have 9 more doors to paint.... can only get 2 done in a weekend. Did get some other niggling chores done, and a start on my taxes.All this talk of meat loaf the past couple days has me wanting some ! Any virtual meat loaf out there?

Mr. WWM and I are back from San Antonio where we had an absolutely fantastic weekend with Kittymom, her dad and her uncle, to celebrate both her birthday and her dad's birthday. It was just a wonderful weekend.
TDK - it's a beautiful thing!
Now, we are off to watch a movie and early bed, I think. It was a long drive home but we had a book on tape and that sure makes the time go faster.
