What happened?
Can't go into all the details, but the student who kept calling the cops to accuse me of threatening her got caught in her own web by the very same cops. Needless to say, her family is VERY mad at her.
In the meantime, I wound up reassigned to DAEP, and I feel like Br'er Rabbit in the briar patch! I finally get to work with high schoolers, they stay quiet and stay working ('cause if they don't, they get arrested and sent to juvie), and yesterday (my 1st day) was the first day in MONTHS that I felt like I had gotten productive work done instead of just (pardon the phrase), "herding cats" for 7 hours a day.
It's nice to be reminded that the Good Lord looks after his own!
I'll be back in a few: I've gotta e-mail those chapters to Instinct, and supper's almost ready.

AB, my parents won't be back until after the first of the year. My boss told my mom this morning that I need her here and my mom said she knew that, but she had to make a choice. Sucky choice, huh?

I'm a bit better, Artistabobbi, thanks. I just had spicy Chinese food which seemed to help the congestion a bit. I had such a sinus headache today. I went into work but wasn't able to really get anything done as my head hurt and I was lightheaded and kept getting things all wrong. Thought I might as well save it for Monday instead of doing it today and re-doing it on Monday because I did it wrong.
