    I've had the Cinnabon coffee.....I think that that is the brand name! For years, I got coffee at Gloria Jeans.....again, an hour away one way to drive!!! I believe it was a Butter Crunch flavor :)

    Wow...How did I miss this thread about coffee?? I love coffee! If I'm sitting up at my desk then you can bet there is a cup of java close by! I like some flavored coffees but it can taste as bitter as it wants to if it has enough caffeine in it! Expresso is the bomb!!

    I really like coffee but I have to be so careful about how much I drink. Sometimes I go into Barnes and Noble just to smell the Starbucks coffee!

    Mexican Coffee

    3/4 C. coffee beans, ground

    2 t. ground cinnamon

    6 C. water

    1 C. milk

    1/3 C. chocolate syrup

    2 T. light brown sugar

    1 t. pure vanilla extract

    Garnish: whipped cream and ground cinnamon

    Place coffee and cinnamon in filter basket of coffee maker. Add water to coffee maker and brew as directed.

    In a saucepan, blend milk, chocolate syrup and sugar. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.

    Combine milk mixture and brewed coffee. Stir in vanilla.

    Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon.

    Makes 6 cups.

    We actually ran out of our usual Italian roast coffee this morning, and Mr. K used a bag of Green Mountain breakfast blend he bought with a coupon a while ago. Not bad, not quite the kick of our ususal, but not awful.

    The Mexican coffee looks more like a dessert, but yum!

    Got a kick out of this thread. I HATE coffee. The smell of it being prepared gags me, and I avoid the aisle in the store that has the bins and grinders because I get sick to my stomach just being near it! Now that being said, since reading all these I've had a craving for a cup of what my dad used to fix me as a kid. In the cup would go about a quarter cup of black coffee, then about 2 teaspoons of sugar, and fill to the brim with milk. Yummy! I would feel so grownup! Then my mom made a kind of powdered sugar frosting which she would color and flavor with coffee for on top of chocolate cake. Oh dear, I'm salivating now. Over coffee of all things!

    We use Gevalia and order the Cinnamon and the Ameretto. Yummy! I used to drink 28 cups a day when I was working. Now I am down to one or two, but because of that it is a real treat.

    The only thing I like about coffee is the smell of the beans/fresh grounds. Can't swallow the stuff. ick. The closest I'll get is Kaluah and LOTS of cream !

    Starbucks Tarrazu (aka Costa Rican) which I adore. I have lately taken to using a little sugar and cutting back on artificial sweetener because, I swear, even the best of them makes coffee a little bitter. I cannot believe how much difference a half sugar/half artificial, liver destroying chemical brew, makes!
