We're celebrating here like we're on Bourbon Street this morning. Party time, with beads, baubles, and fun!
Calico kittehs are ready with breakfast purritos filled with whatever your heart desires! Juices and champagne are flowing freely, and the wonderful aroma of freshly-roasted coffee wafts in the air.
Teas are being prepared by British Shorthairs in little football helmets :-)

Congrats to the Saints and their fans. Colts gave them a great game!

Morning everyone:) I will take some of that tea and I think a bacon, bacon, purrito is in order. Abbie is just getting up so I will be running here soon. They had so much fun at the SB party yesterday. Maddie played hard with all the kids. She bit one though..it was our friends little girl Gina who is about 6-7...her mom and dad were cool about it and wondered what Gina did to deserve it. we made Maddie apologize..I was mortified...that was the only "bad" thing. Abbie wanted to run which was fine ,but she kept on trying to climb up the stairs, so we had to hold her most of the time..she wasn't
thrilled about that.

Poor Maddie, maybe she just got too excited. I hear a number of small children do the biting thing when they're around Maddie's age.
Sounds like SW Michigan is gonna get NAILED with somewhere between 7-14 inches of snow, starting around 5am Tuesday. Guess that means I run my required errands after work today instead of procrastinatin' till later in the week.
And I have to tell you all, my potato soup made with vegetable broth was a hit! I had about half of it left over, and we've eaten off it twice this weekend. Adding in bacon makes it just divine!
I am going to make my next batch of potato soup with vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. The organic broth I got had far less sodium than chicken broth and a lot deeper flavor.

Watched the Space Shuttle go off this morning, very well done indeed! They will return in 13 days, may their landing go as well.
Still fighting with this headache, just can't break it. Thought about going to the ER but don't want to sit there for hours and really don't want to catch whatever the 'sick' people have. I know that seems cheesy or silly but I don't need to be sick on top of having the headache.

Not really much they can do other than give me a shot of DHE or similiar drugs that knock me out for a day or two. Then I can't drive myself home either, within 30 mins of the shot I am out for the count.

Believe I have had every test known to give for migraines, they have experimented with drugs of all kinds. I get cluster migraines, I need to call the neurologist today and see if he can fit me in somewhere on his schedule. Thinking of trying even Botox in my face/forehead to stop or try to stop the headaches.

Sorry to hear about your headache lasting so long, Deb. Has the doctor suggested eating different foods or having different liquids that might help take away the pain?
We're getting MORE snow! The forecasters are predicting about 8 inches when it's all done over the next two days. Unfortunately, the wind will be bad tomorrow, making it difficult to drive. Drat winter!

Morning Ladykat :) ouch more snow, pretty on pictures not on the ground when one has to drive in it.
I have done all the food tests, actually know my triggers and avoid them, these come on usually when I am sleeping so they are too late to hit with meds within the first hour. One day they will come up with a med that actually works on me, or so I believe.

Morning everyone. I was up for most of the night and just took a two hour nap (coldn't log into TDK for the longest time before that). Anyhoo... yes, they are declaring "at least 6-10 more inches" for us Tuesday/Wednesday, but that the worst of it (like this past weekend) is going to be north of us, Philly and NY. I don't envy my friends there. Prepare today!
I'll have some champagne to honor the saints and I'd love a soft boiled egg on toast this morning. My mom made those awesome!

siobhan, nope don't do that either, already did a sleep study. I don't sleep long enough from them to really find out if I have sleep apnea, since I normally sleep between 2-3 hrs in stretches and than wake up. I just give up sometimes, its been that long for me. Wouldn't wish headaches on anyone, not even ppl I don't like.

Sammi is staying off of the stove and not going behind it since I put the foil there. I have to put the foil back though when I am done cooking because she will go back.
I should look up a recipe to make dry citrus peel, another thing I am going to do is figure out what strong lemon smell I can put around the stove to keep Sammi away. I think once she gets to Kizzie's size she wont be able to get behind the stove, and I want to just discorage the whole going behind there and on counters.

They are letting only essential personnel into where I work so I am working from home today. (Means I can have TDK up on home PC and work on the work PC) We are only expecting 3-6 inches of new snow here tomorrow but there is no where to put the snow we have now! There is a nearly 5 ft high and 8 ft wide pile of snow at the end of my street -- with 3 cars buried behind it. My college is closed today though so no class tonight!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.
I watched the super bowl at GG's last night with him, his brother, his parents and a friend from the gym and his brother. We had a good time and were all pulling for the Saints, so we were all happy. I'm meeting my friend at Panera in a little while and then going to look for a nice pillow so GG and I can stop fighting over the one good one he has.
Morning Everyone! I won't even ask who won the Super Bowl as I didn't even know who was playing :)))) LOL! Needless to say, we aren't football fans in this house :) I hope your headache subsides,Deb.....I remember that biting phase, CM, I think all kids go through that! Some plain green tea would sure hit the spot this morning! I hope everyone has a good Monday!
I am in the DC Metro area of Virginia. We aren't used to this kind of snow here. Looks like New England outside my window! Between shovelling and drifting the snow on my condo patio is about 4 ft deep, I think the official snow fall total for the last one was about 2ft and it fell ontop of the 4-6 inches we had earlier last week.
