Well...worked yesterday at a kit evening, taking orders - but in the north east of the country, so 5 hours total travelling plus 4 hours working...got home about 10.45pm, sat upkeeping Chris company as he watched the Superbowl, decided to input all the orders we'd taken...finished about 1.45am, went to bed...had already arranged to get into work for lunchtime today, then was there til 7.30 this evening and I still have work coming out of my ears (yes, even the blocked one!)...this is the pattern for the next 6 weeks or so...EEK!

I love baby Hermes and big Hermes - lol.
I think I'd make a kitty igloo with my snow. Yes I've turned into a crazy cat lady, it's all about my cats now. They are my babies. :)

Hello everyone. Hope all is well :)
I had school from 9 until 4 today. Now I'm home and making dinner - starving because I accidentally forgot my lunch! D'oh!
Mike has work from 3 to 10 tonight. Our schedules are complete opposites so it's been sad seeing him less. Tomorrow he works 6 pm till midnight - yikes. He won't be home until 12:30 in the morning!
-
Ships in the night eh Gini? Just enjoy hogging the sofa and cats and watching all your favourite rubbish on TV!

Yup. He's never really worked a job before past 7 or so. It's so bizarre. It's hard because I want to fall asleep right as he's getting home (especially on the midnight shifts) because I have to wake up early for school and then he doesn't want to wake up early with me because he has to stay up late. Booo. The 3-10 shift isn't too bad though; it gives us a few hours short before sleep at least.

{{{hugs}}} try and treat ourself to things you like and Mike doesn't Gini. And as Kilroy said, keep reminding yourself it's not forever. Fast forward a few years and you may find yourself hankering for this peace & solitude!
Time for me to do pre-bed jobs and then hit the sack. G'night!

Hi all!!! I am so busy anymore..running errands, playing with the kids, cleaning etc that I miss lots of TDK time. I miss everyone.
I am going to sign Maddie up for a cooking class. She will enjoy it. She loves to help me cook. She gets a personalized apron and recipe book at the end of the class. It's for kids 3-6. It starts next week so I plan to register her on Friday when it's payday :)
Gini, hang in there, temporary like everyone says. hugs to you though, it's still hard..
MCW, night. Try not to work too hard. They still haven't paid you what you are due.
Hugs to all...going to finish dinner(shredded beef burritos) and then I have to go next door and feed my neighbors kitties..she's on vacation in Mexico. Lucky girl!!!!
I miss you all so much!!!Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

Hey everyone. We are supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow here in my part of Kentucky. Running errands after work to make sure I am set. The most important of which visiting the chiropractor. My neck and trapezius muscle has been killing me since Saturday. Then home to make something warm for dinner. Hopefully I will wake up to an excuse to come in late tomorrow.

Hey all. I've missed everyone here too - lots of work to do. Evidently we're supposed to get a "classic nor'easter" Tuesday into Wednesday. Might be the first snow day of the school year - just about all storms so far have been on weekends and holidays.

Hi all - I'm with Joan in the 'lots of work to do' category and I really don't know where to start so I am procrastinating. Didn't get to watch the Super Bowl yesterday - MrKK managed to tape the History Channel instead despite my explicit instructions to him over the phone. But we taped the repeat last night and will watch it later when we have time.
Cooking classes for Maddie sound great, CM!
Gini - MCW is right - treat yourself to things you like and believe me you WILL be hankering for that solitude in a few years time!!!Posted 2 years ago by KapitiKats in NZ #

Good evening all! Kilroy and AZDeb,I found the only thing that would get rid of my long headaches is a half hour hot stone massage on my neck and shoulders--try it--even if it doesn't get rid of it, it is so blissful, you won't care!! Not looking forward to the snow we are supposed to get here in MI--8 to 12--YUK!! Tried to talk Tom into leaving for FL immediately but he says no, something about obligations we have--ppppfffffttttppfftt!
-
LOL Shelley, what are obligations when Florida is on the calendar??? Aww, Gini, hang in there, you will be stronger for doing things on your own. I agree with the other ladies, make the most of the time for yourself, one day really soon you are gonna miss this "free" time, trust us all! Especially in grad school. I know I was more than naive' on how the heck much one has to do in grad school, it bowled me right over and knocked me flat! Talk about no me time?!?!?!? Hi Kilroy, how's the head? AZ, I understand the whole headache thingee, I ate too much sodium watching the Superbowl yesterday and my head wants to blow off. KK, sorry our Colts lost the Superbowl, but I am glad the Saints won, they are quite deserving. Hi Joan, how is little Leela??? CM, can I take cooking classes with Maddie? I might learn something?!?! OH MCW, I wish I felt your pain right now, we are so slow I had to go home early today. NOT good when I have all these bills. If I missed anyone, hello and I am sooooo sorry!
