  2. Anyone that wants to see pictures of the snow in Washington D.C. look at msnbc.msn.com and the slideshow with the snow showing....

  3. OH yeah, CM, Jeankit and I all rank in the top ten worst places. Yippee! Isn't that a great honor!?!?!? I could have told them that. I used to live in Minneapolis and THAT is WINTER!!!

  4. Great...well at least Cleveland is number 1 in something ...lol.
It doesn't feel like we would be that bad...must be used to it.

  5. And I live right in between two of those cities! (Chicago and Detroit) We get a lot of lake effect snow too.

  10. Ha! I dare say Houghton Michigan beats them all - I think the average snowfall there is about 200" (the standard joke is that there are 2 seasons - "winter" and "winter is coming") It seems to me that someone here on TDK used to live in the U.P.

Oh, and Duluth is pretty bad too. I have friends who used to live there.

  11. Oh yeah.....the U.P. is a winter wonderland :0 My BIL used to live in Fridley, MN....we called it "Frostbite Falls"

  12. I used to travel all over Minnesota, up to the Canadian border and let me tell you that is "no man's land". That is not fit for human or animal, its the frozen tundra for sure! I had a friend who used to live up in the UP and said it was ridiculous the snow. A coworker is from Deluth and calls our winters rather "summerish". I think she needs her head examined cause her brain still hasn't thawed!

  13. Woo Hoo M'waukee comin' in at #4! Lucky this year it hasn't been too bad...we are down 20" but who knows after today! Well, the calendar says ONLY 38 more days of winter!
