  1. Home from tea!! I had a pomegranate tea that was delicious. Plus a chicken panini infused with chai tea with spinach and cherries. Mmmmmmm. It was really good

  2. Joan, glad you have your priorities, water and cat food for Leela! LOL Let me tell you we got a real dumping and its heading to CM and then you guys. It was supposed to stop at noon but is still coming down. UGH! Gini, your tea and meal sound delicious, is it from Mike's place?

  3. Yeah, it is from where he works. It is a nice little place and the tea and food were just delicious. His coworkers are really nice too. Afterwards I wandered around the area a bit but nothing too exciting was going on

  4. My school webpage says "Hunter is currently scheduled to be open tomorrow (Wednesday, February 10th)." Booooooooooooooo. I don't get how they can close all public elementary, middle, and high schools, plus about 99% of the colleges in this city and mine remains open. I hope they change their minds :(

  5. Oh Gini, if you get what we got there is gonna be NO SCHOOL! Though when I went to Purdue they always posted: "You are all adults, you can choose to come to class or not. The real world doesn't stop for snow". WHAT???? Everything shuts down, schools, churches, I didn't get mail, trash, recycling, etc.

  6. Last year when we had that giant storm where all NYC public schools closed and pretty much all colleges, my college was still open. I don't get what they have against closing when it's really bad

  7. Gini, that sammie and tea sound so good! We got done with dinner, I ran next door, put Abbers to bed at 7, then I just finished up the dishes. Wayne is bathing Maddie then he is going to snow blow. I will put her to bed in about an hour. We have to clean up her room and the living room. Looks like a cyclone hit them.
It's snowing pretty good here..has been all afternoon. It's quite the sight!

  8. Okay, well, without going into details, one of the "non-perishable" items I bought at BJ's was, well, Fiber One Bars. I'm addicted to them. Never shoulda bought them. Um... it's darn good that I don't have any company and I certainly will have an alternative fuel source should it be needed during the storm. Um.. okay, hiding my head in embarrassment and going to bed to watch tv!

    Love you guys!

  9. Lainey it is also good you are alone as they certainly will do a "number" on you. I can't look at any Fiber One products in the store, it makes me cramp up. Having had a colon resection, I should have known that it just wasn't something I ever should have tried, EVER!

  10. Let me tell you I eat 4 fiber pills each and every day and I eat Fiber One Bars--no effect on me!! At first I was just jealous of the pig in New Zealand--but now....

  11. OH SM, you are so lucky! :)

  12. I think they are rather tasty. I had colon cancer. I had a piece removed and then the years of treatment. I have always had to have high amounts of fiber--it is insane.

  13. I have never tried fiber one bars. Or the cereal for that matter.
