   Hi...
   Joget's condition has worsened this past few days. He only urinates a few drips at a time. I hope it's not too painful for him, I hate to see him suffer...

   I don't know if it's only a UTI, or if he's really blocked. And I can't afford to see the vet anymore, I'm still in debt from his last treatment.

   Right now, I'm doing what I think is best for him. That is, feeding him small meals 4-5 times a day. Since he doesn't drink much, I mix water to his food. And no dry food, that is.

   Pls pray that he won't get completely blocked. If he does, I won't be able to provide him any treatments.

   Right now, my strength comes only from prayers, and from the boy's courage.

   I hope my not being able to provide him any treatments to the vet doesn't make me a bad person. God knows how much I love him...

   Dionnewb, I guess you have checked to see if there are any vets/clinics in your area that will offer assistance? How about taking your situation to a local TV/radio station? Or is that something that is difficult to do in Indonesia?

   I had forgotten about your location at first, it must be so frustrating not to have the resources for animal care that many of us are used to. Are there any animal rescues? or as Dee suggested would an apppeal to the media be possible? Anything you could use as collateral with the vet till you can afford to pay? Just a few thoughts!! I will pray for you and your Joget.

    Hello Dionne,I hope your Joget gets better soon. Prayers for you and your Joget. Would the vet perhaps work out a payment installment plan,rather than pay all at once? In any case no your not a bad person Dionne,your doing best you can,medical care is so expensive.I hope your Kitty gets well soon, and somehow can get the medical care he needs if possible.

    Hi all, thank you for the prayers and support...
    Joget can still urinate today... Still in drips, though. I add a bit of herbal medicine to his wet food. I don't know if that will help release the blockage, but Joe does seem a bit better...

    About appeals... Hmmm... I don't think that would work in Indonesia. This may sound sad, but a lot of sick people don't get treatments here, and to most Indonesians, cats are "just cats".

    I'm going to talk to my mom. Perhaps she can lend me some money...

    Pls continue praying for Joe... I'm sure his feeling better today has been influenced by your prayers.

    Thank you for the prayers, everyone...

    I finally went to the vet last night. My mom had some extra money that I could borrow, and she took me and Joe there.

    Xray showed that Joe has fluid in his stomach. We don't know what the fluid is, and how it got there. But the vet (a different one than my usual) said, he guessed Joe's bladder had ruptured. Probably from the improper insertion of catheter at the first vet. (His urine had not flowed freely after the catheter was inserted. This could be because the bladder ruptured at insertion). But we don't know for sure yet.

    The only cure right now will be surgery.

    I'm selling my cellphone today, and hopefully we can schedule a surgery for tomorrow (saturday. It's friday morning now in indonesia).

    Pls pray for Joe's well-being all day today. His urine is coming out in even lesser drips than yesterday. I hope he's not in too much pain, and that he can hang on until the surgery. And I hope he can have the surgery tomorrow...

    I'm so, so sorry. But your new vet sounds on the ball and we are all pulling for little Joget. Many hugs, and sending healing energy for your boy. Bless your mum for being there for you and bless you for caring so much about your baby.

    As for the first vet who may have caused this, do you have a small claims court in Indonesia or at least a body to complain to? He has cost you and Joget a lot of pain and worry and money.

    Hi all...

    Surgery is scheduled tomorrow at 12 noon. That's around 13 hours from the time this msg is posted.

    Pls pls pls pray for Joe that he will make it through surgery and recovery. I'm worried sick because this is the first time my baby is going to have surgery...
    Oh, and he's going to be altered as well :)
