   he was just going in for his yearly check up and he weighs 16 pounds! and he doesn't even show it he is so long i'll have to measure to see how long he is but i mean i was wanting him to gain weight because he looked so skinny but nope hes got the pounds on him hes just so long that it doesn't show one bit and also i'll have to take a pic of it but here lately when u hold him he'll expand his little pinky toe on his back feet its soo cute

   George is about 13/14 pounds, but he's really long too, he's definitely not fat. I think some cats are just built that way. Did your vet say anything about Scooby's weight?

   no the vet didn't mention anything about it but he did say he still has some growing to do i hope not to much because i saw his father and his back was almost past my knees and im 5'8" so yeah

   LOL...I hate to scare you but, if he's 16 lbs. at 1 yr.old, he's still got some growing to do. He's gonna get bigger but, he sounds like a lean built kitty like my Spunky. He reached 20 lbs. in his second year of growth but doesn't have a bit of fat on him.

   Our first cat Sid was a tall and lanky orange boy, and he was hefty too. Carried his weight well (lol). No swaying tummy floof.

   Hermes on the other hand, is a low-rider (lol). short stocky legs and big tummy.
