  2. That is most definitely him. You can't miss the wonderful hair colour he has or that amazing mop.

  3. Evening Deb and MS, I have a horrible tummy tonight so just popping in for the duration of a cuppa tea, then I'm off to bed with some ibuprofen. I feel bad because I promised to have some work ready for my employers tonight -- I've done most of it but just can't face the hour or so that it would take to finish it off. I hope they don't curse me too much :(

    How are you two today?

  4. Well, if he's a redhead, of course he's brilliant ;-)

The Flying Tomato, tee hee... sounds a bit ... squishy...

  5. Evening Jane, so sorry that you have a fritzy tummy :( Try and rest if you can, maybe after the tea it will settle down some.

MS, he is an impressive young man with loads of enthusiasm.

  6. Hi all - sorry you're feeling dodgy Jcat. One of my colleagues had the same thing today and had to pull out of a presentation half an hour before and then another colleague had an epileptic seizure in the bosses office right before the presentation also. Needless to say the presentation was cancelled! My colleague was fine but it gave us all a fright and we all realised noone has first aid training.

  7. Evening KK. Dealing with epileptic seizure(s) is such a different thing, we have a gentleman who works here with them. I know there isn't really much that can be done except try to ensure that he doesn't hurt himself when having them.

  8. Evening Jcat, I had the fritzy tummy the other day, Only me and not Mr MS but we'd been eating the same things. I hope it settles down soon. Have some gingerale to settle it Jcat.
Evening sis. That would have been a long day in your office then.

  9. AZ we just put her in recovery position, talked to her and kept her warm. The ambulance came and they checked her out but she didn't want to go with them so I took her home and stayed for awhile. She unfortunately ended up with a few carpet burns from the floor on her elbow and face which made us both laugh later. Not the usual way you want to get carpet burns in the bosses office!

  11. Grumble, grumble, triple post!

  12. Now wiping out the next one...

  13. Evening, KK, oh, that would have been scary. I keep meaning to sign up for a St John course -- it would be horrible to be the first person to come upon an emergency and not know what to do -- but of course it's making the time to actually go ahead and do it. I'm glad your colleague was all right. It happened to a classmate of mine and the most frightening thing was him hitting his head as he fell onto the concrete road... He was all right too but it's a shock.

  14. Woohoo triple posting. A not often sighted happening.
Chuckling now at Jcat's attempts to expunge her 11pm glitch boo boo.

For the uninitiated, for some reason at 11pm NZ time every night we are unable to post for anywhere between a couple of minutes to that length of time called "I give up, I'm signing out. It's a mystery to us. Sometimes you hit 'send post' again because you think it hasn't sent the first time. See above for the result.

  15. Oh I love when the web gets stuck. The only I know about seizures is to try and make sure that the person doesn't hurt themselves while having the seizure.

  16. KK, its good that she can laugh about it afterwards, and no not a good way to get 'rug burns' in anyones office!

  17. Mr MS was faced with a similar situation when he was working out of town on a site. He saw a workmate suddenly crash to the ground and tremor all over. He ran to him all the while looking around in case it was electrocution but there was nothing else there. He just sat for 15 minutes with the mans face in his hands as he was face down on the concrete and wearing the skin off his face. The ambulance came and checked his friend over but he refused to go to hospital. Found out later it's because if he had then he would probably have had his drivers license suspended and he didn't want that. Thankfully Mr MS does regular first aid courses through his job.
ROTFLMAO at the rug burn comment. I'm shocked KK, :-). Yeah, right!

  18. KK, I'm curious, what IS the usual way you want to get rug burns in the boss's office? ;-)

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  19. Really ROTFLMAO now. Jcat, you said that with such a straight face too.

  20. Libby's discovered a new game -- out through the living room window and in through the office window. Remind me why I got my windows fixed again...

Ah but you beat me to the punch, MS. I had to read KK twice and do a double take before I got what she said -- naughty, naughty, KK...

I know what I meant to ask you. How many gigabytes broadband do you have and is it enough? I am trying to decide if it is worth paying a fifth more on my telephone/email bill to get a measly gigabyte a month -- but someone told me that's quite a lot (I don't believe them but what do I know?)...

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  21. LOL, Libby's just having fun!

MS, your hubby is a good man, good thing they have the first aid courses for work.

Posted 2 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  22. Yep, definitely the kind of person you would want around in a crisis!

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  23. Yeah, um er. . . I think I am getting 10 gigabytes but please don't quote me on that. Just emailed you

    Posted 2 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  24. Thank you!

Posted 2 years ago by jcat #

  25. I emailed again with the info.

  26. hello all! :) It's 5:45 here...dark...cold....why am I up...oh yea...Abbers cried at 5:15..sigh..thought I might as well stay up :)

I used to date a guy who had seizures and it's scary. No one told me what to do if he had one. He had them after we were intimate....and that first time...I almost freaked out! But I was calm and turned him on his side and held his tongue till it was over...

    There's a thought for you before bed..lol

    How are you feeling?
jcat, sorry your tum is a bit icky tonight.

Posted 2 years ago by cricketsmama #

  30. Morning, CM, sorry you got such an interrupted night. Hope Wayne is feeling better today, you don't need to be taking care of another sick family member.

    Ohmigosh, CM, that's even scarier!

I will take some nurofen with me to bed and probably be fine by tomorrow :-)
