TGIF is all I can say! Kittehs are running around getting the buffet set up. Today Panera catered cause the kittehs are SO TIRED from staying up late watching the Olympics! Can I just say how AWESOME the US team is? More snowboarding, skiing and men's figure skating! How exciting these games have been! And they said the US was gonna be a flop, NOT SO! Hope your day is good, mine is busy but that makes it go faster and I can go home to those two lovely, purring, snuggly babies of mine! No plans this weekend, how about you?

Hi MC! The sleepy kitties are just adorable, aren't they? I am sooo glad it's Friday, plus the crossword tournament starts tonight (well, the fun and games do, competition starts tomorrow) and Mr. K's daughter is coming up from Pittsburgh for a visit, which is always good.
-
....Morning!... Mr. AV and I have our date night this evening, I imagine we'll walk to our favorite restaurant/bar, share some yummy food and a glass or two of Merlot, while listening to the live band..... our usual favorite thing to do on Friday.......
..... Caturday, I intend to SLEEP IN..... and then hang around in my pjs!.....Sunday - church, then probably cleaning (unless of course Hazel miraculously shows up!)

Hello! I try to stay awake for the Olympics, but I usually end up falling asleep. I turn on the bedroom TV to listen (it has a timer to turn it off) and the cats and I get so comfortable that I'm asleep before the end.

Morning MC, Kilroy, AV, Siobhan and LadyKat :)
Doing a bit of housework here before going out to walk this morning. Hope that it doesn't hurt to walk this morning, might have shin splints but hoping that isn't the case. So will be wandering in from time to time while trying to accomplish something :)

Thought I'd share my morning laugh; Mr. K was stripping the bed to do laundry, and Georgie decided to help. He ended up wrapped up in the fitted sheet on the floor with Mr. K making waves with the sheet and dragging it around. George finally emerged, looking rather ruffled (and adorable). :)

Hi everyone! TGIF!!! I'm sleeping in too tomorrow - it's CATurday, yay!
Caught the women's downhill combined, so cool!
Ack Deb, I had shin splints years ago but I still remember how painful they were. Hopefully you don't have them.
Another nutty day here in the land of fun. Actually today is kinda fun; we're celebrating the bosses 50th. His b-day was yesterday but with various meetings and other stuff going on, we decided to "forget" till today. Appropriate, since the "theme" is memory loss! We decended on his office after he left for a meeting yesterday. Black balloons everywhere, post-it notes all over with notes to remind him of things. It's been sooo stressfull this week with no sign of getting better anytime soon, so it's nice to take a little break for some fun.Posted 1 year ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

Kittehs love making beds, now if they could just change the sheets themselves!

Have fun at the crossword tournament, Kilroy. Leela, just like all kitties, loves to "help" make the bed. Actually, she gets to play her favorite game almost every day, but I must first start with a riddle: what's black and blue and grunts when you poke it? It's Leela on the blue carpeted floor under the corner of the blue comforter that hangs to the floor. She makes these weird grunting sounds when she's deep in play, it's a riot!

lol Joan, the picture of Leela playing is too cute. Just changed a bed covering on the spare bedroom and had to 'find' 2 cats underneath, they are so funny.

Good Morning to All! My Stormy was one who thought I could change the bedclothes or make the bed around him! Kilroy, I can't believe it's been a year already for the crossword tournament! I am a crossword addict....if I'm sitting down, I must have a crossword to work on. Hope everyone will have a great Friday and weekend!!!!

I'm more of a word search person. My mom does the newspaper's crossword and sort of competes with a friend. They get together or talk on the phone about which ones they missed, then help each other out.

What beautiful snuggling fuzzies "Kittens of the day" today! Adorable, loving sisters! Awwwww...
I loved hearing about George "helping" change the sheets with Mr.K and how Leela grunts under the blue comforter. Awwww gave me a huge smile today! Kitties are just way TOO precious!
Joan, I enjoy word searches as well, but that is so sweet how your mom and her friend do the crosswords and then help each other on the ones they missed. How fun!
I watched the olypics last night, especially the men's skate. Wow!! The USA really ROCKS this year!! YAY!! So much talent and hard work. These guys are so awesome!! I love to see them receive their medals and play the US song. :) So touching.
Hope everyone has a wonderful TGIF!!! Enjoy your day!! -
Yay yay it's Friday greetings from sunny M'waukee! Blue skys, birds singing, snow melting what a great way to start the end of the W___k week! I did walk again...4/5 days this week...woo hoo! Maybe next week 5/5!/going for the gold! I need my java and a crusty croissant with apricot jam to entice me to get back to w__k! Waves to all to have a wonderful TGIF with smoochies to the marmalade kit at the door!

Hehe, the boss just went into the mens room. He's the only guy in the office so we HAD to put a surprise in there for him! Yep, more post-its: lock door, unlock door, flush toilet, wash hands, dry hands, check tie...and there's more black balloons there too. Says it's the first time in about a week that he's smiled. Success!

OK it's been a bit frantic at work and we've all been warned off Facebook and other "public" sites. We're allowed to use them, but any comments we may make with regard to work/colleagues etc. could result in disciplinary action, including being done for gross professional misconduct. It makes one a bit wary about writing anything at all on the net.......

Got to go again now. PCs (as in Pussy Cats) need feeding and then it's choir practice.
I'll continue to drop in from time to time, but probably won't be a "regular" any more. You never know who's reading what you write and how it may be miscontrued.

Hi PM! I know what you mean; my job is very public so I can't say much. That's why I come to the TDK cafe and snuggle with agency kittehs; they are so good at their job!

Good afternoon littermates!
I had a great workout this morning, had the volume lowered on my new hearing aids so its much better :) I even found my favourite winter hat... it was in between my two art and paper bins... lol. Had a great conversation with my friend. She is such a good intervenor. I like how we work together. I like both of the ones I have.
.
When I got home I put on music and danced a bit. Kizzie is such a hoot! She wiggles and squiggles on her back and rolls over. I think its her way of dancing too, plus she knows that doing so leads to chin scratches and belly rubs. (She prefers this over her back being petted). Does anyone have cats who prefer belly rubs over back pats?
