  1. They may sound silly, but some people think cats CAN predict the future! For example, if a cat licks itself, it means a thunderstorm is coming. We do not know if this is true or not though. Or if a cat does something else, a guest is arriving. Pretty cool! But rememeber: this may not be true. ;)

  2. The closest I found on this site is that cats can read your moods/actions...about 1/4 down the page.

  3. Interesting site JK. Must add that the fact about Chatham(it was spelt incorrectly) Islands is wrong. It is not overrun by black cat but is the home of the Black Robin which has been brought back from extinction when there were only five birds left. Now there are over 200 Black Robins in the wild.

I was told as a child that if a cat washes behind it's ears there will be rain in three days time. It's amazing how accurate that is. Just watch and see.

  6. It does work. A very wise elderly gentleman told me to watch the cats when the wash their face. I was only about 8 years old and it totally fascinated me that whenever the cat washed behind it's ears it did rain in three days.
