Good evening all! Kittehs are all revved up for the USA vs. Canada Hockey game as well as Ice Dancing. They have both on in different areas of the NS. We have a fire burning and lots of blankets/pillows for your comfort. Come on in with your pj's on and "hang out" with the kittehs. We have lots of comfort foods tonite, pick your poison. i would like some kitties and some carb-rich chicken and rice and vegetable soup. hot cocoa would be a great addition. thank you. i will snuggle on the couch in front of the fireplace and the tv with some pillows and blankets too...

Oh Cheri, please come join us! I have on my pj's, my mukluk slippers and am plopped on one of the couches with the kittehs all over me. Its so nice and snuggly. Oh look, here comes a Meezer with your soup and cocoa.

Oh dear - I did it again :-( We were watching the Olympics and I must have dozed off. Mr. WWM asked me what the last thing was on TV and I valiantly guessed "A coke commercial?", which of course was totally wrong. But I did see Bode Miller's gold medal ceremony! Awesome, Bode!
So after snoozing for how long ?, I am offically off to bed. Goodnight, Everyone!

Evening Jane, wish I was home right now, sure could sleep now :) Oh that bites to lock your keys in the car, never a good thing. How hot was it there today? Mine was going home this morning, walking and then watching some of the Olympics and trying to sleep more than an hour at a time.

Ummm, I don't know, Deb, but it felt like about 28-30 degrees Celsius.
Mine was editing and now I'm trying to send proofs on dial-up, never good... Went for a long walk and it almost killed me today. Think I might have to start going later, when the sun's almost down... I did get greeted by a group of (possibly slightly inebriated) teenagers as 'Kia ora, girl' though, while on my walk, which cheered me up no end. (Ha! Ten or twenty years ago I would have been insulted!)

MS, it's just as well I got my windows fixed as I had accidentally left one unlocked and so shimmied in the house that way, then called the AA. (They were painted shut before, and the sashes were broken.) I do have a spare set of keys in the house, and upended every drawer in the place looking for them, but could I find them...?
And I only went out because I'd run out of ink for the computer printer in the middle of work... it's been one of those days... Still waiting for the third misadventure to happen (eek).

Lol, I have my spare set of keys in the house too, keep meaning to put them outside somewhere and to give an extra set to Lynn for emergencies.

So that's where out hot weather went today, down to Carty. That's quite fine Jcat, you may keep it for a while. I'm planting out seedlings in the vege and flower garden and really need overcast cool weather with a bit of rain for that to go well.

I was a bit nervous a helpful neighbour might see a shape climbing in from the corner of their eye and call the coppers! Most of my near neighbours know me but not so much the ones further down the street... Luckily I have an enormous hedge which sort of shielded me... It was sheer luck I'd left that one unlocked from a few days ago, I'd carefully locked everything else. Couldn't believe it when I tried it and it just slid open...
It IS nice to get a bit of heat for once. :)

I'm sloping off too. Just heard an odd noise at the front door and when I checked HRH was pulling at the security screen and making the noise. That's one way to get my attention and the door opened.

*peeks* in the NS..... good night everyone!..... reading back posts!...
.... *laughing* at JCat shimiming in a window! I locked myself out on the balcony in NC once, and I had to squeeze through Abby's cat door to get back in.... lucky for me Mr. AV had put a medium dog size door in, not the tiny little cat only kind!..... (still, it was tight!)
